Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat penguasaan materi yang dimiliki siswa terhadap konsep dasar gerbang logika pada mata pelajaran sistem kontrol terprogram. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran peningkatan penguasaan materi yang diperoleh siswa pada materi dasar gerbang logika setelah menggunakan media belajar berbasis software circuit wizard. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar minat siswa dalam menguasai materi dengan berbantuan media belajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pre-experimental design, dengan jenis one-group pretest-posttest. Penguasaan materi pada ranah kognitif siswa diukur dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda, sedangkan peningkatan penguasaan materi antara sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran dihitung dengan konsep gain yang dinormalisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan penguasaan materi pada siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya penguatan (gain) sebesar 0,56 pada kategori sedang, hasil angket respon minat yang didapat siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran dengan penerapan software circuit wizard mendapat respon yang sangat baik karena sebagian besar berada pada jawaban positif yang menunjukan bahwa 81,14% siswa menyukai proses pembelajaran menggunakan media belajar berbasis komputer dan software simulasi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan software circuit wizard untuk meningkatkan penguasaan materi konsep dasar gerbang logika dapat meningkatkan penguasaan materi pada siswa. ---------- This research is motivated by the low level of mastery of the material that is owned by the students to the basic concepts of logic gates on the subjects of the control system is programmed. The purpose of this research is to gain an increase in students' mastery of the material obtained on the basis of the logic gate material after using a software-based learning media circuit wizard. In addition, this study aims to determine how much interest students in mastering the material to the media-assisted learning. The method used in this research is a method of pre-experimental design, with a kind of one-group pretest-posttest. Mastery of the material on students' cognitive domains measured by using a multiple-choice test, whereas the increase mastery of the material before and after the learning calculated by the concept of normalized gain. The results showed that there was an increase in students 'mastery of the material indicated by the strengthening (gain) of 0.56 in the medium category, the results of the questionnaire responses obtained students' interest in the learning process with the application software wizard circuit got very good response because most are the positive response that indicates that 81.14% of students liked the learning process using computer-based learning media and software simulations. It can be concluded that the application software wizard circuit to improve the mastery of basic concepts of logic gates can improve the students' mastery of the material.
