Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian komparatif unsur naturalisme yang terdapat pada kedua roman yaitu : Une Vie dan La Mort d'Olivier Becaille dengan pendekatan strukturalisme murni. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dan dokumen. Adapun desain penelitian yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif analisis, yaitu bahwa data tidak diubah kedalam bilangan atapun angka statistik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh isi roman Une Vie dan La Mort d'Olivier Becaille sedangkan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sekuen-sekuen dari kedua roman tersebut yang mengandung gagasan unsur naturalisme. Dengan analisis unsur intrinsik roman (penokohan, alur dan latar) dapat diketahui bahwa hasil analisis perbandingan dari cari penyajian dan cara penulis menampilkan unsur naturalisme oleh kedua penulis tidak terlalu berbeda. Persamaan terdapat pada bagaimana kedua penulis membuat tokoh utama yang anti-hero, tragic ending,alur yang dibuat pun memperlihatkan adanya penurunan kekuatan tokoh utama, para tokoh dibuat putus asa dan frustasi, pelampiasan kekecewaan, serta pelarian dari masalah yang tidak ditemukan jalan keluarnya akibat kelemahan manusia itu sendiri, serta pemilihan kata-kata yang atau bahasa yang digunakan menggambarkan kata-kata sefonetis mungkin atau melukis dengan kata-kata. Perbedaannya terletak pada cara penulis menggunakan masalah-masalah seksual antara tokoh utama, pada roman Une Vie masalah seksual mendapat perhatian lebih, sedang pada roman La Mort d'Olivier Becaille tidak menampilkan sama sekali perihal seksual. Pada roman La Mort d'Olivier Becaille tokoh utama di tengah-tengah cerita seolah mencoba menghindar atas kondisi determinisnya pada saat mencoba keluar dari kubur karena tubuhnya akhirnya bisa bergerak, sedangkan pada roman Une Vie seolah tokoh utama sangat pasrah akan nasibnya. Dari hasil analisis, peneliti merekomendasikan agar analisis komparatif unsur naturalisme dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam materi perkuliahan Littérature Française. Kata kunci : analisis komparatif, unsur naturalisme, roman, strukturalisme This research aimed to describe the results of an analyze comparative of naturalism elements contained in the two novels, the novels are: « Une Vie » and « La Mort d'Olivier Becaille » with pure structuralism approach. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are literature and documents. The design of the research is descriptive analysis, namely that the data is not converted into numbers nor statistic . The population in this study is the entire novel « Une Vie » and « La Mort d'Olivier Becaille » while samples in this study are the sequences of the novel, which contains the idea of naturalism elements. With the analysis of the intrinsic elements of novel (characterizations, plot and background) can be seen that the results of the comparative analysis looking for the presentation and how the author shows elements of naturalism by both authors are not too different. Equations are on how the author makes the main character of the anti -hero, tragic ending, groove made also showed a decrease in the strength of the main character, the character created despair and frustration, disappointment impingement, as well as an escape from the problems not be resolved due to the weakness the man himself, as well as the selection of words or language that is used describe words sefonetis may or painting with words . The difference lies in the way the author uses sexual problems between the main characters, the novel "Une Vie" sexual problems get more attention, being the novel "La Mort d'Olivier Becaille" did not show at all about sex. In the novel "La Mort d'Olivier Becaille" main character in the middle of the story as he tries to escape on condition determinisme when trying to get out of the grave because his body was finally able to move, whereas in the novel "Une Vie" as the main character so resigned to his fate. From the analysis, we recommend that a comparative analysis of the elements of naturalism can be used as an alternative in the lecture material Littérature Française.
