Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh modifikasi bola terhadap keterampilan bermain sepakbola siswa SMP Negeri 1 Lembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP Negeri 1 Lembang, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 22 siswa, 22 siswa laki-laki yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Untuk mengumpulkan data keterampilan bermain sepakbola siswa penulis menggunakan observasi, dan untuk mengukur keterampilan bermain sepakbola siswa menggunakan tes game performance assessment instrument (GPAI). Dari hasil pengujian analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pengaruh modifikasi bola terhadap keterampilan bermain sepakbola siswa kelompok eksperimen yang mendapatkan treatmen sebesar 58,55%. Kata kunci: Modifikasi Alat, Keterampilan Bermain Sepakbola The objective of this study is to investigate the influence of ball modification on the performances of SMP Negeri 1 Lembang students in playing football. The method used in this study is the experimental method. The population of the study is the whole students of SMP Negeri 1 Lembang, whereas the research samples are 22 male students which are chosen using purposive sampling technique. The researcher does an observation to collect the data of students' performances in playing football. Further, the researcher uses the Game Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI) to assess students' performances in playing football. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is found an influence of ball modification on the performances of students, which are in experimental group and given treatment, as many as 58.55%.
