Latar belakang diadakannya penelitian ini adalah karena kurangnya keterampilan siswa dalam menulis puisi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas 3 sekolah dasar dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe learning together. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan masing-masing siklus terdapat dua tindakan. Alat pengungkap data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar observasi kegiatan guru dan siswa terkait pembelajaran kooperatif, catatan lapangan, instrumen pembelajaran dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa keterampilan siswa dalam membuat judul puisi meningkat dari nilai rata-rata 65.28 pada pertemuan awal menjadi 82.94 pada siklus I dan meningkat kembali menjadi 85.8 pada siklus II. Pada aspek kesesuaian ini puisi dengan tema terdapat peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 76.7 pada awal pertemuan, menjadi 79.4 pada siklus I kemudian menjadi 88.3 pada siklus II. Pada aspek pemilihan kata terdapat peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 66 pada awal pertemuan menjadi 67.64 pada siklus I kemudian meningkat kembali menjadi 78.2 pada siklus II. Secara keseluruhan peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa pada awal pertemuan ke siklus I yakni dari 69.3% menjadi 76.6% dan pada siklus II menjadi 84.5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe learning together dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar.; The background of this research is the lowness of student's skill in writing poetry. The objective of this research is to increase 3rd grade student's skill of writing poetry by applying of cooperative learning with learning together type. The form of this research is Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles, each cycles consists of two action. The data collection instrument used in this research are observation sheets of student and teacher activity in cooperative learning, field notes, instruments of learning activity and documentation. The results of this research show that student's average score in making title of poetry increase from 65.28 in the first meeting to 82.94 in first cycle and still increasing to 85.8 in second cycle. In compatibility of poetry's content with the theme, the student's average score increase from 76.7 in the first meeting to 79.4 in first cycle and still increasing to 88.3 in second cycle. In diction aspect, the student's average score increase from 66 in the first meeting to 67.64 in first cycle and still increasing to 78.2.3 in second cycle. Over all, student's skill of writing poetry increase from 69.3% to 76.6% in the first meeting to first cycle and increase to 84.5% in second cycle. According to the research above, it can be concluded that applying of cooperative learning with learning together type is able to increase the skill of 3rd grade student
