Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya penggunaan media yang dilakukan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK). Pembelajaran berbasis produksi ini sendiri merupakan pelajaran yang utama, karena siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) didik untuk mempersiapkan diri menuju dunia kerja. Observasi awal yang dilakukan oleh peneliti menemukan bahwa pembelajaran ini sendiri masih terpusat pada guru, sehingga siswa kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran. Penggunaan media ini sendiri diharapkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengacu pada tindakan guru sebagai upaya untuk memperbaiki proses dalam hasil pembelajaran. Penelitian tindakan kelas merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan guru untuk meningkatkan kualitas mengajarnya atau untuk menguji asumsi-asumsi dari teori-teori pendidikan dalam prakteknya dikelas atau juga untuk mengimplementasikan dan mengevaluasi kebijakan-kebijakan sekolah. Populasi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X THP 1 SMKN 1 Kuningan yang berjumlah 36 orang dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa yang ada di kelas X THP 1 SMKN 1. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar pada siklus ke 1 dan siklus ke 2 yang menggunakan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) pada uji Normal Gain mengalami peningkatan nilai yang lebih baik pada kompetensi dasar pengoolahan dan pengawetan bahan hasil pertanian. ; This research is motivated lack of media use conducted in learning in vocational secondary schools (SMK). This production based learning itself is a major lesson, for students of vocational high school (SMK) students to prepare themselves for the world of work. Preliminary observations made by the researchers found that learning itself is still centered on the teacher, so students are less active in learning. The use of this medium itself is expected to improve student learning outcomes. The method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR), which refers to the actions of teachers in an effort to improve the process of learning outcomes. Classroom action research is teachers doing activities to improve the quality of teaching or to test the assumptions of educational theories in practice in class or also for implementing and evaluating school policies. The study population used in this study were all students of class X SMK 1 Brass THP 1 of the 36 people and sample used in the study are all students in the class X THP 1 SMK 1. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes in cycle 1 and cycle 2, which uses student worksheet (LKS) on a test Normal Gain increased a better value to the basic competence pengoolahan and preservation of agricultural products.
