Summary:Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keaktifan belajar siswa pada saat pembelajaran di kelas V di salah satu SD di Kota Bandung. Hal tersebut terlihat dari rendahnya siswa dalam mengamati, menjawab pertanyaan, mengajukan pertanyan, mengemukakan pendapat, bekerja sama dan mengerjakan tugas. Penelitian ini akan menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT). Adapun tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi efektivitas penerapan model cooperative learning tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V dengan jumlah 20 siswa terdiri dari 13 siswa laki-laki dan 7 siswa perempuan. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data akan dikumpulkan dengan melakukan pengamatan melalui lembar observasi. Hasil yang diperoleh pada siklus I 72,80% dan meningkat menjadi 86,83% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model cooperative learning tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa Sekolah Dasar ;--- This research is motivated by the low activity of learning of students during the learning in the fifth grade at the one of elementary school in Bandung. That is showed by the low activity of observing,answering question, giving question, teamworking and doing assignment. This study is going to apply the type of cooperative learning model, it is Numbered Heads Together (NHT). The purpose of this research is to identify the effectivity of implementing Cooperative Learning-Numbered Head Together in order to enhancing student's activity in learning. The subject of this research is a fifth grade elementary students which it has 20 students with 13 boys and 7 girls. The Method which is used is Classroom Action Research with Kemmis and Mc Taggart's model. The research is going to do in two cycles consisting of planning, acting, observing and evaluating. The data is going to be collected by doing observing through observation sheet. The result of the activity of learning from the first cylcle is 72,80% and then it increases being 86,83% in the second cycle. Based on that research, we can get conclusion that the implementation of Cooperative Learning-Numbered Head Together (NHT) can enhancing activity of learning of students at elementary school
