Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan koleksi dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi untuk memberikan kepuasan bagi pemustaka. Permasalahan umum yang dikaji yaitu bagaimana keterkaitan pengembangan koleksi dengan kepuasan pemustaka tunarungu di perpustakaan SLB Negeri B Bandung. Permasalahan khusus diantaranya yaitu (1) Bagaimana keterkaitan pengembangan koleksi aspek kesesuaian dengan kepuasan pemustaka tunarungu di perpustakaan SLB Negeri B Bandung; (2) Bagaimana keterkaitan pengembangan koleksi aspek kelengkapan dengan kepuasan pemustaka tunarungu di perpustakaan SLB Negeri B Bandung; (3) Bagaimana keterkaitan pengembangan koleksi aspek kemutakhiran dengan kepuasan pemustaka tunarungu di perpustakaan SLB Negeri B Bandung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa dan guru SLB Negeri B Bandung. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling insidental. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup dengan skala Guttman yang dibagi menjadi 2 kategori dengan analisis korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keterkaitan yang signifikan pengembangan koleksi dengan kepuasan pemustaka dalam kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat digambarkan bahwa kesesuaian koleksi dengan kepuasan pemustaka tunarungu dalam kategori rendah, untuk kelengkapan koleksi dengan kepuasan pemustaka tunarungu dalam kategori rendah, dan untuk kemutakhiran koleksi dengan kepuasan pemustaka tunarungu dalam kategori sedang.;--- This research was matovated by the collection development to fulfill information needs of the users to increase users' satisfaction. Issues being discussed was the collection development correlation towards hearing impaied users' satisfaction at the library of SLBN B Bandung. Specific issues include: 1) the relevance of collection and hearing impaied users' satisfaction at at SLB B Bandung library; 2) the correlation of collection completeness towards hearing impaied users' satisfaction at at SLB B Bandung; 3) correlation of collection recency towards Hearing Impaied users' satisfaction at SLB B Bandung. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students and teachers of SLB B Bandung. The sampling technique used is incidental sampling technique. The collection technique used is the questionnaire enclosed with Guttman scale which divided into two categories with a correlation analysis. The results of the study shows that there is a significant correlation between collection development and hearing impaied users' satisfaction in the medium category. Based on the results of the study can be drawn that the correlation of the collections and users' satisfaction is in the low category, while correlation between the collection completeness and users' satisfaction is in the low category, and correcation between collection recency and users' satisfaction is in medium category.
