Skripsi ini mengambil judul "Penerapan Metode Role Playing Untuk Meningkatkan Rasa Percaya Diri Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Di Kelas X IIS II SMAN 14 Bandung)". Berdasarkan keresahan yang terjadi selama pembelajaran pada tahap observasi, percaya diri siswa terlihat rendah. Hal ini terlihat pada saat proses tanya jawab di kelas, siswa cenderung malu dan tidak berani bertanya, kemudian pada saat siswa diminta untuk maju ke depan kelas dan juga saat berbicara didepan kelas masih belum sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan. Percaya diri yang ditekankan pada penelitian ini adalah percaya diri siswa saat pembelajaran sejarah berlangsung. Dengan demikian, tujuan utama dari penulisan ini ialah untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah agar siswa dapat mengaktualisasikan diri dan juga mengembangkan bakat yang dimiliki. Sehingga, indikator dari rasa percaya diri siswa yang ditekankan pada penelitian ini yaitu percaya akan kemampuan diri (mampu mengaktualisasikan diri) dan juga berani maju ke depan kelas. Rasa percaya diri merupakan modal awal siswa dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Role Playing untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas, berdasarkan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain penelitian Dave Ebbut yang terdiri dari satu siklus dengan beberapa kali tindakan. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, rasa percaya diri siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Sehingga hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rekomendasi bagi guru dan pihak sekolah untuk mengembangkan berbagai metode pembelajaran yang kreatif. ;---This essay entitled "Application of Role Playing Methods To Improve Student's Self-Confident in Learning History (Class Action Research In X IIS II Class SMAN 14 Bandung)". Based on the anxiety that occurred during observation at the learning phase, student's self-confidence appear to be low. This was shown during the debriefing process in class, students tend to be ashamed and did not dare to ask, afterwards when the students were asked to came forward the classroom and as well when speaking in front of the class are still not in accordance with what is expected. The confidence which emphasized in this research is the confidence of students during the learning history. This essay aim to improve student's self-confidence in learning history so that students can actualize themselves and developing talents possessed them. Thus, the indicator of confidence of students who emphasized in this research is believe in the ability of self (capable of self actualization) and is also boldly come forward the classroom. Self confidence is the initial capital of students in implementing the activities in the classroom. This research used Role Playing method to improve the confidence of students in learning process in the classroom, based on the method of Action Research (PTK) with Dave Ebbut design of the study which consists of one cycle with several times the action. Based on data analysis that has been done, the confidence of students has increased at each cycle. So that the results of this study may be a recommendation for teachers and schools to develop creative teaching methods.
