Olahraga anggar merupakan salah satu olahraga yang banyak mengandalkan kekuatan fisik. Komponen fisik yang paling penting dalam permainan anggar berupa kecepatan, waktu reaksi, kekuatan, koordinasi, daya tahan dan masih banyak lagi. Beberapa komponen kondisi fisisk tersebut sangat berperan dalam permainan anggar, baik pada saat bertahan maupun pada saat melakukan serangan. Namun sejauh ini belum ada penelitian tentang berapa besar kontribusi dari komponen kondisi fisik tersebut terhadap hasil serangan, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan reaction time (waktu reaksi) dan coordination (koordinasi) dengan hasil serangan langsung dan seberapa besar kontribusi yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya pengetahuan tentang komponen kondisi fisik mana yang paling banyak dibutuhkan dalam olahraga anggar. Dengan mengetahui komponen mana yang paling banyak berkontribusi, maka porsi latihannya bisa ditentukan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 15 orang atlet UKM anggar UPI. Dari hasil uji korelasi terdapat hubungan antara reaction time dan coordination dengan hasil serangan langsung dengan nilai korelasi sebesar -0,536 dan -0,534. Sementara kontribusi reaction time terhadap hasil serangan langsung sebesar 28,5% dan coordination terhadap hasil serangan langsung sebesar 28,7%. ---; Fencing is the sport that rely on physical condition. Some important components are speed, reaction time, strength, coordination, endurance, etc. Some of that components have an important role when the player attack and also defense. However, there have been no study about the contribution from those components to the attack result. This study aims to find out the correlation between reaction time and coordination to the direct attack result and its contribution. This study has a background that there has been less knowledge about physical component which is fencer required. Consequently, the portion of training can be considered. Quantitative approach was used as the method of this study and purposive sampling was used as the technique sampling. 15 athletes from UKM Anggar UPI participated as the subject of this study. As the result of correlation test, there is a correlation between reaction time and coordination to the direct attack result with the correlation score in the amount of -0,536 and -0,534. While the contribution of reaction time to the direct attack result is 28,5% and the coordination is 28,7%.
