Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan teori dan studi kasus yang menyatakan bahwa ketunanetraan yang terjadi setelah dewasa akan menimbulkan banyak permasalahan, diantaranya adalah interaksi sosial. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) dinamika yang terjadi pada penyandang tunanetra baru selama proses pemulihan kepercayaan dirinya, dan 2) Faktor-faktor yang mampu memicu kembalinya kepercayaan diri tunanetra baru untuk berinteraksi social. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kulitatf deskriptif yang melibatkan 2 subyek penelitian. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap dua subyek penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penyandang tunanetra baru mengalami dinamika yang diakibatkan oleh ketunanetraan di dalam dirinya. Dinamika tersebut yaitu kecemasan, depresi, penerimaan dan penyesuaian. Faktor yang berperan penting dalam pulihnya kepercayan diri tunanetra baru diantaranya faktor keluarga, teman-teman senasib dan media teknologi.;--- This research has been written based on the theory and the study case told that the blindness that's happened after get adult it will have many problems, the example of the problem is social interaction. This research was written for knowing: 1) The case that is happened to the people who just got the blindness during the process of recovering their confident. 2) The factor that could cause the people who just got the blindness could be more confident to do the social interaction. The research method that was used in this research is qualitative describtive research method it took two subjects of the research. Based on the research that was done to the two subjects research showed that the people who just got the blindness the will experience caused by the blindness come from themselves. That case is anxiety, depress, respons, and adaptation. The most important factor in recovering the confident of people who just got the blindness are: the family, the friends who same, and technology.
