Summary

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena rendahnya perilaku prososial remaja yang disebabkan oleh pengaruh teman sebaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil konformitas dan kecenderungan perilaku prososial serta untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kedua variabel pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2016-2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode deskriptif korelasional dengan populasi sebanyak 250 orang. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) konformitas secara umum berada pada kategori acceptance, (2) perilaku prososial peserta didik secara umum berada pada kategori approval-oriented (3) terdapat hubungan yang rendah dan signifikan antara konformitas dengan kecenderungan perilaku prososial peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2016-2017 dengan arah negatif. Tindak lanjut penelitian berupa rekomendasi layanan bimbingan untuk mempertahankan pencapaian konformitas pada kategori acceptance dan konseling kelompok untuk meningkatkan pencapaian perilaku prososial peserta didik yang ditujukan kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling dan perumusan program bimbingan dan konseling secara utuh yang ditujukan untuk peneliti selanjutnya.;The background for this study is the phenomena regarding the low of the adolescent's prosocial behavior which caused by peers. The aims of this study are to determine the profile of conformity and prosocial behavior tendency among the students and to determine the correlation between two variable on VIIIth grade students in SMP Negeri 22 Bandung Academic Year 2016-2017. This study using a quantitive approach and descriptive correlational method with the number of population are 250 peoples. The data was collected through questionnaire. The results showed that (1) profile of conformity is in the acceptance category (2) profile of student's prosocial behavior tendency is in approval-oriented category(3) There is a low correlation and significant between conformity and prosocial behavior tendency of VIIIth grade students in SMP Negeri 22 Bandung Academic Year 2016-2017. As a follow-up of this studies, there is the recommendations about guidance service to maintaning student's conformity in acceptance category and group counseling to increase student's prosocial behavior directly to the guidance and counseling teacher and devise a full guidance and counselling program to further researcher.
