Summary:Based on the data obtained at the student faculty FPTK UPI, there are still students who have not completed their study completion exceeds the limit. Ideal period of study, based on a curriculum that is 4.5 to 5 years of the students accepted to college. Inhibition of the student in completing the thesis is one of the main causes. The purpose of this study to determine the factors that influence student delays in completing the thesis in the Department of Electrical Engineering Education. In this study, the method used by writer is descriptive with quantitative approach. Based on the questionnaire results as a whole obtained factors affecting the inhibition of the student in completing the thesis are the aspect of intelligence (10%), interests and talents (9%), motivation (10%), health (9%), mastery of subject matter (11%), preparedness (9%), family environment (11%), learning facility (9%), guidance factor (11%), and relationship between students factor (10%). So the overall results of the questionnaire can be seen that the factors that have been formulated indicating the value almost equal to the impaired students in completing their final thesis.;---Berdasarkan dari data yang diperoleh pada bagian kemahasiswaan fakultas FPTK UPI, masih ada mahasiswa yang belum menyelesaikan masa studinya melebihi batas penyelesaian. Masa ideal studi berdasarkan pada kurikulum yaitu 4,5 sampai dengan 5 tahun dari mahasiswa tersebut diterima kuliah. Terhambatnya mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas akhir merupakan salahsatu penyebab. Adapun tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi terhambatnya mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas akhir di Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Elektro. Pada penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan penulis adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil angket secara keseluruhan didapatkan faktor yang mempengaruhi terhadap terhambatnya mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas akhir adalah aspek intelegensi (10%), minat dan bakat (9%), motivasi (10%), kesehatan (9%), penguasaan materi (11%), kesiapan (9%), lingkungan keluarga (11%), fasilitas belajar (9%), faktor bimbingan (11%), dan faktor hubungan antar mahasiswa (10%). Berdasarkan hasil angket secara keseluruhan dapat dilihat bahwa faktor-faktor yang telah dirumuskan menunjukkan nilai yang hampir sama besarnya terhadap terhambatnya mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas akhir mereka.
