Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya penerapan evaluasi oleh diri sendiri (self evaluation) dalam proses pembelajaran Studio Perancangan Arsitektur 1. Selama ini, mahasiswa beranggapan jika yang berhak melakukan evaluasi (penilaian) hanyalah dosen. Evaluasi oleh diri sendiri merupakan salah satu teknik dalam asesmen otentik, suatu pendekatan asesmen yang dipandang lebih cocok dalam rangka mencapai kebermaknaan belajar. Oleh karena itu penulis mencoba menerapkan evaluasi oleh diri sendiri dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah SPA 1 untuk mengetahui sikap mahasiswa terhadap proses pembelajaran Studio Perancangan Arsitektur 1. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif. Populasinya adalah seluruh mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur FPTK UPI. Sedangkan yang menjadi ampel penelitiannya yaitu mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur FPTK UPI angkatan 2012 yang mengontrak mata kuliah SPA 1 pada tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan teknik komunikasi tidak langsung, dengan instrumen berupa angket sebanyak 35 soal dengan penilaian skala likert. Data yang didapat dihitung distribusi frekuensi dengan menggunakan prosedur Likert's Summeted Rating. Hasil penelitian tentang evaluasi oleh diri sendiri (self evaluation) dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah Studio Perancangan Arsitektur I menunjukan bahwa mahasiswa Program studi Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur angkatan 2012 memiliki sikap yang baik ketika belajar di dalam kelas, belajar di luar kelas, mengerjakan tugas, interaksi dengan dosen dan interaksi dengan teman.;--- This research is motivated by the lack of application of self-evaluation in the learning of Architectural Design Studio 1. During this time, assume from students are entitled to evaluation (assessment) is just a lecturer. Self evaluation is one of the techniques in authentic assessment, an assessment approach that is deemed more suitable in order to achieve the meaningfulness of learning. Therefore, the authors try to apply the self-evaluation in the learning of Architectural Design Studio 1 to known student attitudes in learning Architectural Design Studio 1. In this research, the method used is quantitative research methods with descriptive research approach. The population is all students in majoring of Architectural Engineering Education Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education (FPTK), Indonesia University of Education (UPI). While the sample of the research is students department of Architectural Engineering Education force 2012 FPTK UPI that contracting Architectural Design Studio 1 in the school year 2013/2014. Data was collected with indirect communication, the questionnaire instrument as much as 35 questions with Likert scale assessment. The data that obtained was calculated frequency distributions with Likert's Summeted Rating procedure. The results of research about the self evaluation in the learning of Architectural Design Studio I showed that the students department of Architectural Engineering Education force 2012 FPTK UPI has a good attitude when learning in the classroom, learning outside the classroom, tasks, interaction with lecturer and interaction with friends.
