Summary:The research entitle " The influence of guided discovery style and intelligence to the student's understanding about playing volley ball at school " is all about the experiment which has been applied to the students of SDN Bendungan 1, which laid at Sumedang district, West Java Province. It has been done since October 2013 until December 2013. Guided Discovery style consist of two methods : Convergent and Divergent Discovery style. The writer then applied those experiments to two groups of SDN Bendungan 1 students to know whether there are difference on using them to the two groups with difference intelligence. Based on the statement above, this research is aimed to know : (1) The difference of student's understanding about playing volley ball between using convergent and divergent discovery style at SDN Bendungan 1 Sumedang. (2) Interaction between guided discovery style and student's intelligence to students's understanding about playing volley ball at SDN bendungan 1 Sumedang. (3) The difference of student's understanding about playing volley ball between convergent and divergent discovery style who has high intelligence at SDN Bendungan 1 Sumedang. (4) The difference of student's understanding about playing volleyball between convergent and divergent discovery style who has low intelligence at SDN Bendungan 1 Sumedang. The writer using experiment methods with factorial design 2 x 2 pre-post test. From calculated result has been known there is the difference which is significant enough between two methods, shown by statistical result of pre and post test of the two groups who had difference treatments.;---Penelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh "Gaya Mengajar Guide Discovery dan Intelegensi terhadap Pemahaman Bermain Bola Voli Siswa di Sekolah", merupakan Studi Eksperiman pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Bendungan 1 Kecamatan Sumedang Utara Kabupaten Sumedang yang dilakukan sejak bulan Oktober 2013 sampai dengan Desember 2013. Gaya belajar bimbingan guru (Guided Discovery) terdiri dari dua bentuk metode yaitu Convergen Discovery dan Divergen Discovery. Seperti diketahui, berdasarkan teori, ada yang berbeda dalam pelaksanaan penggunaan metode tersebut. Penulis kemudian melakukan penelitian eksperimen terhadap dua kelompok siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Bendungan I Sumedang untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan penggunaan kedua metode tersebut terhadap dua kelompok siswa dengan tingkat kecerdasan yang berbeda. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman bermain bola voli antara gaya mengajar Convergent Discovery dengan Divergent Discovery di SD Negeri Bendungan 1 Sumedang. (2) Mengetahui interaksi antara gaya mengajar guided discovery dengan Inteligensi (IQ) siswa dalam pemahaman bermain bola voli siswa di SD Negeri Bendungan 1 Sumedang. (3) Mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman bermain bola voli antara gaya mengajar Convergent Discovery dan Gaya Divergent Discovery bagi siswa yang memiliki Inteligensi tinggi di SD Negeri Bendungan 1 Sumedang, serta (3) Mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman bermain bola voli antara gaya mengajar Convergent Discovery dan Gaya Divergent Discovery bagi siswa yang memiliki Inteligensi rendah di SD Negeri Bendungan 1 Sumedang. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2 x 2 pre-post test. Hasilnya diketahui bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan antara kedua metode tersebut yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil analisis statistik terhadap nilai pre-post test kedua kelompok yang mendapat perlakukan berbeda.
