Summary:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh penerapan model problem based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis dan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian dilakukan di SDIT Raudhatur Rahmah Pekanbaru dengan subjek berjumlah 60 orang siswa. Metode penelitian adalah metode eksperimen desain kuasi eksperimen pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen untuk mengukur kemampuan berfikir kritis digunakan soal berbentuk uraian dan menggunakan angket untuk mengukur sikap peduli lingkungan siswa. Analisis data kuantitatif diolah menggunakan software SPSS Versi 16.0 for windows. Peningkatan kemampuan berfikir kritis kelas yang menerapkan model PBL N-gain mengalami peningkatan 0.50 kategori sedang, terdapat satu indikator peningkatan kategori tinggi, lima indikator peningkatan kategori sedang, dan dua indikator kategori rendah. Kelas yang menerapkan model konvensional mengalami peningkatan 0.10 kategori rendah, Satu indikator peningkatan sedang dan tujuh indikator kategori rendah. Peningkatan sikap peduli lingkungan kelas yang menerapkan model PBL N-gain mengalami peningkatan 0.44 kategori sedang. Enam indikator peningkatan kategori sedang, tiga indikator kategori rendah. Kelas yang menerapkan model konvensional mengalami peningkatan 0.25 kategori rendah. Lima indikator peningkatan sedang dan empat indikator kategori rendah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dapat dikatakan model PBL dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis dan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa sekolah dasar.;--- The purpose of this study is to assess the effect of applying the model of problem based learning to improve critical thinking and environmentally conscious attitudes of primary school students. The study was conducted in SDIT Raudhatur Rahmah Pekanbaru with subjects totaling 60 students. The research method is a quasi-experimental design experimental method quantitative approach. Instruments to measure the ability to think critically about the form used descriptions and use a questionnaire to measure students' attitudes environmental care. Analysis of quantitative data was processed using SPSS software version 16.0 for Windows. Improving the ability of critical thinking classes that implement the model PBL N-gain increased 0.50 medium category, there is an indicator of an increase in the high category, the five indicators of an increase in the medium category, and two indicators of lower category. Class that implements the conventional model has increased 0.10 low category, one indicator of increased medium and low categories of the seven indicators. Improved environtmentally conscious attitude that applying the model PBL N-gain increased 0.44 medium category. Six indicators of an increase in the medium category, the three indicators of low category. Class that implements the conventional model has increased 0.25 lower category. Five indicator of increased medium and low categories of the four indicators. Based on the analysis, it can be said PBL models can be used to improve learning outcomes in particular to improve the ability of critical thinking and environmentally conscious attitudes of primary school students.
