Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang ergonomi pada praktek membatik yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik di laboratorium batik SMK Negeri 14 Bandung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data dan informasi mengenai kondisi lingkungan kerja, tata letak fasilitas membatik (alat, bahan, perabot) dan analisis ergonomi sikap serta posisi tubuh peserta didik, dalam setiap tahapan praktek membatik, mulai dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, hingga penyelesaian akhir. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ruangan laboratorium batik beserta perlengkapannya, dan seluruh peserta didik kelas XI paket keahlian Desain Produksi Kriya (DPK) Tekstil. Jenis sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan anggota sampel kelas XI DPK Tekstil I, sejumlah 20 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi lingkungan kerja dan tata letak alat, bahan serta perabot, sudah memenuhi kriteria untuk melaksanakan praktek membatik sesuai dengan prinsip ergonomi. Hasil penelitian pada sikap dan posisi tubuh peserta didik pada saat praktek membatik, menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari setengahnya peserta didik sudah memenuhi kriteria bekerja sesuai dengan prinsip ergonomi pada praktek membatik meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan penyelesaian akhir. ;--- This research examines the ergonomics of batik practices which are undertaken by students, in the laboratory of batik SMK Negeri 14 Bandung.The purpose of this research is toobtain the data and information about theconditions of the work environment,facilities layout of batik practices (tools, materials, furniture) and analysis of ergonomics of students posture and body position, in each phase of batikpractice,begin from the preparation, implementation, until final completion.The method are used in this research is descriptive quantitative method.The population in this researchis the room of laboratory batik with its equipment, and all students of class XI of expertisepacket Design of Production Craft and Textiles.The type of sample used in this research is the purposive sampling with sample members is a class of XI DPC Textiles I, who are following the activities of the practice of batik in the laboratory amounts 20 people.Data collection techniques in this research were interviews and observation.The results showed that the condition of environment work and layout tools, materials and furniture, had met the criteria for implementing the practice of batik appropriate with the principles of ergonomics.The results of research on thestudents posture and body position during the practice of batik, showed that more than half students already eligible to work in accordance with ergonomic principles in the practice of batik covering the preparation, implementation and the final completion.
