Summary:This research aims to increase the skills of playing football in learning about football through cooperative learning model team game tournament ( TGT ) for student in 8th grade for at MTS Muhammaiyah kuban kondang school year 2016/2017. This research is class action ( PTK ), this research was held on 2 cycle that is in every cycle consist in 2 action. Research cycle through four stages, the stages are planning, implementation, observation, and reflexion. The subject on this research is students which are at 8th grade A MTS Muhammadiyah kubang kondnag with amount of the students are 30, the students consist of 26 male and 4 female. The instrument to measure learning outcomes of playing football skills use GPAI ( game performance assessment instrument ). Based on the result of the research concluded that the cooperative learning model that use Team Game Tournament type ( TGI ) give significant influence on the skills of playing football at MTS Muhammadiyah kubang kondang school year 2016/2017.,---Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Game Tournament (TGT) terhadap keterampilan bermain sepakbola pada siswa kelas VIII A di MTS Muhammadiyah Kubang Kondang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A MTS Muhammadiyah Kubang Kondang dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 30 siswa terdiri dari 26 orang putra dan 4 orang putri. Desain penelitian mengacu pada desain penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmis & Taggart. Instrumen untuk mengukur keterampilan bermain sepakbola menggunakan GPAI (Game Performance Assesment Instrument). Berdasarkan hasil penghitungan uji statistik di tindakan 1 dan 2 dalam siklus 1 terdapat nilai persentase keterampilan bermain sepakbola siswa sebesar 34% di tindakan 1 siklus 1 dan 55% di tindakan 2 siklus 1. Kemudian dalam tindakan 1 siklus 2 terdapat hasil persentase keterampilan bermain sepakbola sebesar 68% dan 93% di tindakan 2 siklus 2. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Team Game Tournament (TGT) memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap keterampilan bermain sepakbola di MTS Muhammadiyah Kubang Kondang. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberi masukan dan menjadi rekomendasi untuk sekolah maupun guru penjas dalam mengajar khususnya untuk pembelajaran sepakbola.
