Summary: | Penelitian ini memaparkan mengenai nilai sosial budaya ritual ziarah Makam Buyut Cibuntu di Desa Ciomas Kecamatan Sukahaji Kabupaten Majalengka. Makam buyut cibuntu merupakan makam yang dipercaya dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang terjadi pada kehidupan, namun pada zaman modern masih ada yang mempercayai hal tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran umum tradisi tersebut dan dampaknya terhadap solidaritas masyarakat, mendeskripsikan faktor penyebab tradisi tersebut masih bertahan, mendeskripsikan faktor penarik dan pendorong peziarah mendatangi makam tersebut, menggali dan mendeskripsikan nilai sosial budaya yang terkandung dalam tradisi tersebut. Desain Penelitian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi deskriptif. Tekhnik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi, studi dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa, (1) Tradisi ritual ziarah Makam Buyut Cibuntu menjadi awal mula terbentuknya Desa Ciomas sehingga terbentuk rasa memiliki di masyarakat. (2) Anak dikenalkan tentang tradisi tersebut oleh keluarganya sejak kecil, tradisi tersebut pula menjadikan Desa Ciomas dikenal sehingga perekonomian masyarakat berkembang karena antusiasme penziarah yang sangat tinggi. (3) Hal yang menarik karena pada zaman sekarang masih ada hal mistis, sehingga rasa penasaran menimbulkan keinginan untuk datang, didorong dengan keputusasaan menghadapi permasalahan yang dirasa sudah buntu akhirnya peziarah mendatangi Makam Buyut Cibuntu. (4) Nilai sosial yang terbentuk yaitu interaksi sosial dan gotong royong yang solid antar peziarah, antara peziarah dan masyarakat serta antar masyarakat. Nilai Budaya dari pelaksanaan Ritual Makam Buyut Cibuntu telah dianggap sebagai simbol dari Desa Ciomas itu sendiri, sehingga jika Makam Buyut Cibuntu tidak ada maka Desa Ciomas pun tidak ada.;---This research describes the social-cultural value of the pilgrimage ritual of the tomb of Buyut Cibuntu in Ciomas Village, Sukahaji District, Majalengka Regency. Tomb of Buyut Cibuntu is believed to able to solve problems that occur in life, but in the era there are still believe it. The purpose of this study is to describe the general description of the tradition and its impact on the solidarity of the community, to describe the factors that cause the tradition to survive, to describe the factors of attracting and pushing the pilgrims to the grave of Buyut Cibuntu, exploring and describing the social-cultural values contained in the tradition. The research used qualitative research with descriptive study method. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, observations, documentation studies and literature studies. The results (1) The ritual tradition of the pilgrimage of the Buyut Cibuntu tomb became the beginning of Ciomas village to form a sense of belonging, in practice this tradition has changed since Islam entered. (2) The child was introduced to the tradition by his family since childhood, the tradition also made the village of Ciomas known so that the economy of the community developed because of the enthusiasm of the pilgrims is very high. (3) It is interesting because in the present era there are still mystical things, so the curiosity raises the desire to come, driven with despair facing the problem that felt deadlocked finally pilgrims come to the tomb of Buyut Cibuntu. (4) The social values that are formed are social interaction and solid mutual cooperation between pilgrims, between pilgrims and the community and between communities. The cultural value of the Cibuntu Buyut tomb has been regarded as a symbol of Ciomas Village itself. So if the Cibuntu Buyut Cemetery does not exist then the Village Ciomas did not exist. |
