Summary

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh studi pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan pihak industri, bahwa lulusan baru SMK belum siap langsung bekerja, tidak jauh berbeda skill bekerja lulusan SMK dengan siswa SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persiapan sekolah dan siswa sebelum pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri, pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri dilihat dari aktivitas pihak sekolah, dan pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri dari aktivitas siswa di industri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan desktriptif kuantitatif yang menggambarkan atau mendeskripsikan tentang pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri SMK Negeri 2 Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, persiapan siswa dalam pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri di SMK Negeri 2 Bandung dengan kriteria sangat baik, hal tersebut ditujukkan dengan adanya kegiatan pembekalan prakerin yang diselenggarakan sekolah sebelum siswa praktikan melaksanakan prakerin. Peranan pihak sekolah/guru pembimbing dengan kriteria sangat baik, peranan pihak pembimbing industri dengan kriteria sangat baik, aktivitas yang dilakukan selama praktik kerja industri dengan kriteria sangat baik dan dampak setelah melaksanakan praktik kerja industri dengan kriteria sangat baik. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri di SMK Negeri 2 Bandung dapat dikategorikan sangat baik.;---This research is motivated by a preliminary study that has been done through interview with the industry, that the new graduate SMK not ready to work immediately, not much different skill work graduate SMK with high school students. This study aims to determine the preparation of schools and students before the implementation of industrial work practices, the implementation of industrial work practices seen from school activities, and the implementation of industrial work practices of student activities in the industry. The research method used descriptive quantitative describe or describe about the implementation of industrial work practice SMK Negeri 2 Bandung. Date collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that, preparation of students in the implementation of industrial work practices in SMK Negeri 2 Bandung with very good criteria, it is addressed with the pre-training activities held by schools before students practice implement field industrial practice. The role of the school / counselor teachers with very good criteria, the role of the industry supervisor with very good criteria, the activities undertaken during industrial work practices with very good criteria and impact after implementing industrial work practices with very good criteria. So it can be concluded that the implementation of industrial work practices in SMK Negeri 2 Bandung can be categorized very good.
