Summary:Dampak pengundulan hutan dapat menimbulkan bencana ekologis diantaranya banjir bandang, sumber air berkurang, erosi dan longsor lahan. Bencana ekologis terjadi karena adanya ketidakseimbangan ekologis dan alam yang terus dieksploitasi tanpa adanya upaya pelestarian dan kesadaran dari masyarakat. Salah satu cara menanamkan sikap peduli akan manfaat hutan yang diterapkan pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode outdoor study terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik. Data diperoleh menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen, dengan pengujian sikap peduli lingkungan pada pretest dan posttest. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan memanfaatkan Taman Nasional Gunung Gede dan kelas kontrol XI IPS 3 menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Analisis data menggunakan statistik berupa uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode outdoor study, yang dibuktikan dengan nilai α= 0,05≥,000 .(2) Terdapat perbedaan hasil sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning, yang di buktikan α= 0,05≥,000. (3) Terdapat perbedaan sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol melalui pemanfaatan Taman Nasional Gunung Gede sebagai sumber belajar, yang dibuktikan dengan = 0,05≥,003. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode outdoor study berpengaruh terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Outdoor study, Sikap Peduli Lingkungan, Taman Nasional ABSTRACT The impact of deforestation is strongly felt as it is result on uncertain weather change, heavy flood, water resource decrease, erosion and landslides. Ecological disasters occur because of the ecological and natural imbalance that continue to be exploited without conservation efforts and awareness of the community. One way to instill a caring attitude about the benefits of forest applied to the learner. This study aims to analyze the influence of outdoor study methods on environmental attitudes of learners. The data were obtained using quasi experimental method, by testing the environmental cares attitude on pretest and posttest. The sample of this research consists of two classes, namely class XI IPS 1 as experimental class by utilizing Gunung Gede National Park and control class XI IPS 3 using problem based learning model. Data analysis using statistics in the form of normality test, homogeneity, and T test. The result of the research showed: (1) There is difference of environmental caring attitude of learners before and after using outdoor study method, as evidenced by the value of α = 0,05≥, 000. (2) There is difference of environment care attitude of learners before and after using problem-based learning model, which is proved by α = 0,05≥,000. (3) There is a difference of environmental care attitude of learners in the experimental class and control class through the utilization of Gunung Gede National Park as a learning resource, proved by = 0.05≥, 003.
