520 | |a Penelitian mengenai transfer learning pada pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan contextual teaching learning dengan strategi REACT ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan transfer learning siswa. Transfer learning merupakan kemampuan siswa untuk mengaitkan pemahaman yang telah dimiliki ke dalam pembelajaran baru, sehingga pada penelitian ini akan dilihat kemampuan siswa menggunakan pemahaman materi ekologi dalam mempelajari materi perubahan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah non-experimental design dengan jenis penelitian correlational design. Penelitian ini melibatkan 33 orang siswa kelas X SMA di salah satu SMA Negeri di Bandung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemberian soal tes untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan transfer learning, kolom refleksi, dan angket tanggapan siswa yang diberikan kepada siswa setelah selesai melaksanakan pembelajaran, serta observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan selama pembelajaran oleh dua orang observer. Kemampuan transfer learning siswa diidentifikasi saat belajar dengan menggunakan strategi REACT yang dikembangkan oleh Crawford. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan transfer learning siswa sangat tinggi, siswa mampu mentransfer konsep-konsep pada materi ekologi yang telah dimilikinya untuk diterapkan pada materi perubahan lingkungan yang sedang dipelajarinya sehingga lebih membantu siswa dalam memahami materi perubahan lingkungan, dan siswa memberikan respon yang positif terhadap adanya kolom refleksi dan strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan di dalam penelitian. Kata kunci: Transfer learning, strategi REACT, ekologi, perubahan lingkungan ABSTRACT This research will explain about transfer learning on learning by using contextual teaching learning approach with REACT strategy. The aim of this research is to identify the ability of transfer learning. Transfer learning is students' ability to connect existing understandings into the new learning, so that in this study will be seen the ability of students to use the understanding of ecological subject in studying environmental change subject. The method used on this research is non-experimental design with correlational design type of research. This research involves 33 students of 10th grade from a senior high school in Bandung. Data collected by giving some test to identify the ability to transfer learning, reflection column, and a questionnaire about students responses given to student after the learning, and observation of performance on learning done during the learning by two observers. The ability of student learning transfer is identified during learning by using the REACT strategy which developed by Crawford. The results showed that students' learning transfer ability is very high, students are able to transfer the concepts on the ecological subject that they have to apply to the environmental change subject being studied so as to better assist students in understanding the environmental change subject, and the students respond positively to the existence of the reflection column and the learning strategies used in the study.
