The aim of this study is determine the effect of the application of project based learning model on students' motivation in learning geography. This research uses experimental research with post-test only design. The independen variable in this study is the project based learning model and the dependen variable in this study is the learning motivation. The population of this research are student in XI IPS SMAN 15 Bandung, sample of this research are class XI IPS 3 as the experimental class, and class XI IPS 4 as the control class. The data are obtained through questionnaires that are given after the implementation of project-based learning model in the experiment class, and after the application of the concept map strategies in the control class. The data analysis used is in the form of the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test of Mann Whitney U-test. The results showed that the learning motivation in the experimental class gained an average score of 70.20 with a high category, and in the control class earned an average score of 70.64 with a high category. Hypothesis Testing showed that there was no significant difference between experimental class and control class. Salah satu kelebihan model pembelajaran project based learning adalah dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran geografi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain post-test only design. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran project based learning dan variabel terikatnya adalah motivasi belajar peserta didik. Populasi digunakan adalah kelas XI SMA N 15 Bandung. sampelnya adalah kelas XI IPS 3 yang digunakan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPS 4 digunakan sebagai kelas kontrol. Data motivasi belajar didapatkan melalui angket motivasi belajar yang diberikan setelah pembelajaran di kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning dan di kelas kontrol yang menggunakan strategi peta konsep. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis Mann whitney u-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar di kelas eksperimen memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 70,20 dengan kategori tinggi, dan di kelas kontrol diperoleh skor rata-rata 70,64 dengan kategori tinggi. Uji Hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. | ||
