Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar passing bawah dan passing atas dalam permainan bola voli. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Desain dalam bentuk pretest dan posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Bandung. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara probability sampling yaitu kelompok siswa yang akan digunakan sebagai sampel telah terbentuk, tanpa harus memilih lagi secara random, sedangkan hasil belajar passing bawah dan passing atas menggunakan NCSU Volley Ball Skills Test Battery. Hasil penelitian secara umum menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Passing Bawah dan Passing Atas dalam Permainan Bola Voli kelas VIII di SMPN 9 Bandung. Hal ini ditunjukan dari adanya perbedaan hasil belajar passing bawah dan passing atas terlihat dari skor posttest antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Dimana skor posttest kelas eksperimen lebih besar dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. This research aims to investigate whether there is a significant influence to the cooperative learning model named Numbered Head Together (NHT) in order to increase the learning outcome of forearm and overhead tehniques in volleyball. The method used in this research is a quasi experimental by using Nonequivalent Control Group design in the form of pretest and posttest.The sampling tehnique is done by using probability sampling which involves the group of students which is going to use as the sample formed, without choosing randomly, while the learning outcome of forearm and overhead tehniques use NCSU Volley Ball Skills Test Battery. Generally, the result shows that there is positive and significant influence from the use of cooperative learning model named Numbered Head Together (NHT) in order to increase the learning outcome of forearm and overhead tehniques in the volleyball games of class VIII at SMPN 9 Bandung. It is showed by the learning outcomes differences of forearm and overhead tehniques which refer to the pottest scor between experimental class and control class. As the result, the pottest scor of experimental class is higgher than the control class
