Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh struktur modal terhadap profitabilitas pada perusahaan industri telekomunikasi yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2006-2015. Struktur modal yang diukur menggunakan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) dan profitabilitas yang diukur menggunakan Return on Assets (ROA). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode verifikatif. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder, berupa laporan keuangan dari perusahaan industri telekomunikasi yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2006-2015. Sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak tiga perusahaan. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi data panel dengan metode random effect, pengujian keberartian regresi (uji F), dan pengujian keberartian koefisien regresi (uji t). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa struktur modal berpengaruh negatif terhadap profitabilitas.----------This reasearch was purpose to prove the influence capital structure on profitability at telecomunication companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2006-2015. Capital structure was measured by Debt to Equity Ratio and the profitability measured by Return on Assets. This research is a descriptive study with the verification method. The data used is secondary data which financial statement of Telecomunication companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2006-2015. Samples obtained by 3 companies. The Statistic analysis used is pooled data regression with random effect method, regression testing method (test f), and coefficient regression testing (test t). The result of the test shows that capital structure has negative effect on profitability.
