Summary:Penelitian ini dilakukkan di SMK Swasta se-Cimahi Utara yakni SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi, SMK PGRI 1 Cimahi, SMK PGRI 2 Cimahi, SMK Sangkuriang 1 Cimahi dan SMK TI Garuda Nusantara. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya efektivitas pembelajaran siswa program keahlian Administrasi Perkantoran mata pelajaran Pengantar Adiministrasi Perkantoran. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu kompetensi pedagogik guru (X) dan efektivitas pembelajaran (Y). Analisis mendalam dilakukan terhadap kedua variabel tersebut dengan variabel kontrol latar belakang pendidikan guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kompetensi pedagogik guru dan efektivitas pembelajaran dengan latar belakang pendidikan sesuai maupun tidak sesuai, pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran serta perbedaan efektivitas pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru dengan latar belakang pendidikan sesuai dan tidak sesuai. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey explanation. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Responden merupakan sampel siswa di SMK Swasta se-Cimahi Utara sebanyak 81 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Berdasarakan hasil penelitian didapatkan gambaran kompetensi pedagogik guru dan efektivitas pembelajaran berada pada kategori tinggi. Indikator terendah dari kompetensi pedagogik guru yaitu kemapuan guru dalam pengembangan peserta didik dan indikator terendah dari efektivitas pembelajaran yaitu peragaan dalam mengajar. Kompetensi pedagogik guru berpengaruh positif terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran dan terdapat perbedaan kompetensi pedagogik guru dan efektivitas pembelajaran. ---------- This research was conducted in Private Vocational Schools in North Cimahi that are Vocational School of Pasundan 1 Cimahi, Vocational School of PGRI 1 Cimahi, Vocational School of PGRI 2 Cimahi, Vocational School of Sangkuriang 1 Cimahi and Vocational School of TI Garuda Nusantara. The problem studied in this research was the effectiveness learning of students on skill program Office Administration on subject Introduction of Office Administration which is not yet optimal. This study consisted of two variables: teachers' pedagogical competency (X) and the effectiveness of learning (Y). In-depth analysis was conducted on both variables with control variables: teachers' educational background. The purpose of this research is to know the overview of teachers' pedagogical competency level and the effectiveness of learning with educational background, linear or non-linear, the effect of pedagogical competency of teachers on the effectiveness of learning and the different effectiveness of learning conducted by teachers with linear and non-linear educational background. The method used in this research was survey explanation. Data were collected by using questionnaire. Respondents were samples of student as many as 81 students in Private Vocational School in North Cimahi. Data were analyzed by simple regression. Based on the results of the research, the teachers' competency and teachers' performance are in the high category, the pedagogical competency of teachers has a positive effect on the effectiveness of learning with linear and non-linear educational background and there are differentiation of pedagogical competency of teachers and the effectiveness of learning.
