Sebagai industri yang memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian negara, perusahaan telekomunikasi seharusnya berada dalam keadaan menguntungkan atau profitable. Profitabilitas merupakan faktor utama bagi perusahaan dalam mencapai laba yang optimal dari kegiatan operasionalnya. Profitabilitas yang tinggi pada sebuah perusahaan akan mempengaruhi atau menarik perhatian investor untuk menanamkan modalnya di perusahaan yang bersangkutan. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan analisis faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi profitabilitas perusahaan telekomunikasi. Modal kerja merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi profitablitas. Modal kerja yang cukup memungkinkan perusahaan untuk beroperasi dengan baik, karena kelebihan dan kekurangan modal kerja akan berdampak buruk bagi perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh modal kerja terhadap profitabilitas pada perusahaan telekomunikasi di Indonesia yaitu PT. Indosat Tbk, PT.Smartfren Telecom Tbk, dan PT. Bakrie Telecom TbkTahun 2006-2015.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif modal kerja terhadap profitabilitas, yang berarti jika terjadi perubahan modal kerjaakan berpengaruh dengan meningkatnya profitabilitas (ROA) perusahaan sub sector telekomunikasi. Modal kerja yang diukur dengan WCT dengan nilai tertinggi berada pada PT. Bakrie Telecom Tbk tahun 2006 yaitu sebesar 53 dan nilai WCT yang terendah berada pada PT. Bakrie Telecom Tbktahun 2007 yaitusebesar -11.PT. Bakrie Telecom Tbk mengalami penurunan profitabilitas terus menerus dan pada tahun 2015 terjadi penurunan secara drastis sebesar 38,11 % bila dibandingkan dengan perusahaan lainnya. Profotabilitas yang paling tinggi berada pada PT Indosat Tbk tahun 2007 yaitu sebesar 5,05 %. ;--- The telecommunication industry in Indonesia is experiencing a slowing phase of growth as well as lower profitability. As an industry that has an important role in the economy of the country, telecommunication companies should be in a profitable or profitable state. Profitability is the main factor for the company in achieving optimal profit from its operational activities. High profitability in a company will influence or attract investors to invest in the company concerned. It is necessary to analyze what factors affect the profitability of telecommunication companies. Working capital is one factor that can affect profitablity. Adequate working capital allows the company to operate properly, because the advantages and disadvantages of working capital will have a negative impact on the company. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of working capital on profitability in telecommunication companies in Indonesia, namely PT. IndosatTbk, PT.Smartfren Telecom Tbk, and PT. Bakrie Telecom Tbk2006-2015. The type of research used is descriptive and verifikatif. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive effect of working capital on profitability, which means if there is a change in working capital will affect the increase in profitability (ROA) telecommunication sub-sector company. Working capital as measured by WCT with the highest value is at PT. Bakrie Telecom Tbk in 2006 is equal to 53 and the lowest WCT value is at PT. Bakrie Telecom Tbk in 2007 which amounted to -11. PT. Bakrie Telecom Tbk experienced a decline in profitability continuously and in 2015 there was a drastic reduction of 38.11% when compared with other companies. The highest profitability was at PT IndosatTbk in 2007 which was 5.05%. |
