Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi terutama pada subkonsep struktur dan fungsi organ reproduksi manusia, fertilisasi, kehamilan dan pesalinan, dan alat kontrasepsi. Hal tersebut menjadi acuan peneliti untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match terhadap penguasaan konsep siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebagai pengaruh dari penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match pada siswa kelas XI IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan metode Pre-eksperimental Design. Desain yang digunakan yaitu The One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design sampel yang terdiri atas 28 orang siswa kelas XI IPA Tahun Ajaran 2015-2016. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes berbentuk pilihan ganda. Data dijaring terdiri dari pengetahuan awal (Pre-Test) dan pengetahuan akhir (Post-Test) yang kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai pre test kelas eksperimen 38,56. Rata-rata nilai post test kelas eksperimen 55,23 dan nilai rata-rata N-Gain 0,25 termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Uji hipotesis dilakukan berdasarkan hail uji beda rata-rata antara kemampuan awal dan kemampuan akhir siswa. Uji t paired-samples sikap ilmiah untuk nilai N-Gain diperoleh Sig.(2-tailed) 0,00 < α (0,05), maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu berdasarkan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan dengan mengunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match terhadap penguasaan konsep siswa.----- This research is based on the number of students who experience misconception on the subconsept of structure and function of human reproduction organs, fertilization, pregnancy and delivery, and contraception. It becomes a reference for researchers to apply cooperative learning model of the type of Make a Match against the mastery of student concepts. The purpose of this study is to see the improvement of student learning outcomes as the influence of the use of cooperative learning model of Make a Match types in students of class XI Science Class. This research using Pre-experimental Design method. The design used One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, the sample consisting of 28 students of class XI Science Class Year 2015-2016. Data collection in this study using the test. The data that collected is composed of Pre-test and Post-Test which is then analyzed using statistical test. The results showed an average of experimental class experiments of 38.56. The average post test class score of experiments is 55.23 and the average N-Gain 0.25 is included in the low category. Hypothesis testing is performed based on the average difference test between initial ability and final ability. Paired T-test of scientific attitude attitudes for N-Gain values obtained by Sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 < α (0.05), then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion of this research that there is influence of cooperative learning type Make a Match to mastery of student concept.
