Penelitian ini mencoba menerapkan teknik pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Inside Outside Circle terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa SMA Negeri 1 Margahayu. Saat ini siswa dituntut untuk dapat berbicara dan berkomunikasi secara global. Dan kemampuan berbicara adalah implementasi dari materi-materi pelajaran bahasa Jepang yang telah dipelajari. Maka dari itu, tujuan dari dilaksanakannya pembelajaran dengan teknik ini adalah agar siswa mampu untuk berbicara dengan bahasa Jepang secara aktif setelah menggunakan teknik tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode true experiment design (pretest-posttest control group). Teknik pengambilan sampling dengan cara random sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI LM 1 & LM 2 sedangkan sampelnya 32 siswa, yaitu 16 orang siswa kelas eksperimen dan 16 orang siswa kelas kontrol. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan angket. Dari hasil analisa data posttest diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 3,26. Dan dengan db 30 pada tahap signifikansi 5% diperoleh ttabel sebesar 2,04 dan signifikansi 1% diperoleh ttabel sebesar 2,75. Karena nilai thitung > ttabel , maka Hk diterima. Hal tersebut berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kemampuan berbicara siswa yang menggunakan teknik kooperatif tipe Inside Outside Circle. Hal tersebut diperkuat dengan hasil angket yang menyatakan bahwa lebih dari setengah responden merasakan pengaruh penerapan teknik kooperatif tipe Inside Outside Circle terhadap kemampuan berbicara bahasa Jepang.;---This research tries to apply cooperative technique type Inside Outside Circle to increase the Japanese speaking ability of SMA Negeri 1 Margahayu students. Currently, students are required to be able to speak and communicate globally. And the ability to speak is the implementation of the lessons learned in Japanese language. Therefore, the purpose of the implementation of learning with this technique is that students are able to speak Japanese actively by the technique. This research uses the method of true experiment design (pretest-posttest control group). Sampling technique is by random sampling. The population in this study were students of class XI LM 1 & LM 2 while the sample were 32 students, that is 16 students from experimental class and 16 students from control class. Instruments in this study are test and questionnaire. The result of the study shows that tcount equal to 3,26. And with db 30 at 5% significance, stage obtained ttable of 2.04 and 1% significance, obtained ttable by 2.75. Because the value is tcount> ttable, then Hk is accepted. This means that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control group. The experimental class who employed Inside Outside Circle can outperform the control class who used Roleplay technique. In addition, the result of the posttest is supported by the data from questionnare which states that more than half oof respondens found that Inside Outside Circle help them to increase their Japanese speaking ability.
