Summary

Penelitian ini mengenai penguasaan Matematika yang akan memberikan kontribusi terhadap penguasaan Mata Pelajaran Produktif. Penguasaan Mata Pelajaran Produktif dibatasi pada tiga Mata Pelajaran Produktif yang paling banyak mengandung unsur perhitungan-perhitungan bersifat matematis, yaitu Mekanika Teknik, Ukur Tanah, dan Konstruksi Beton Bertulang. Melihat kenyataan di lapangan tidak sedikit siswa yang memiliki kesulitan untuk menguasai Mata Pelajaran Produktif ini. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui kontribusi penguasaan Matematika terhadap penguasaan Mata Pelajaran Produktif. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran umum penguasaan Matematika dan Mata Pelajaran Produktif, serta untuk mengetahui besarnya kontribusi penguasaan Matematika terhadap penguasaan Mata Pelajaran Produktif pada siswa Program Keahlian Teknik Konstruksi Batu Beton SMKN 1 Sukabumi. Metode penelitiannya adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksplanasi (korelasional). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa Program Keahlian Teknik Konstruksi Batu Beton di SMK Negeri 1 Sukabumi yang telah menyelesaikan mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik dan Ukur Tanah pada kelas X dan sedang mempelajari mata pelajaran Konstruksi Beton Bertulang pada kelas XI. Instrumen penelitian yaitu dokumentasi nilai untuk mengukur penguasaan Matematika (variabel X) dan tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur penguasaan Mata Pelajaran Produktif (variabel Y). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran umum penguasaan Matematika siswa termasuk dalam kriteria kuat dan penguasaan Mata Pelajaran Produktif siswa termasuk dalam kriteria cukup, serta hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan dan positif sebesar 91,64% dalam aspek kognitif dan sisanya 8,36% disumbang oleh faktor lainnya dari penguasaan Matematika terhadap penguasaan Mata Pelajaran Produktif siswa Program Keahlian Teknik Konstruksi Batu Beton SMKN 1 Sukabumi -------- This study is talking about the controlling of Mathematics which will give a contribution towards the Productive Lesson of student. The controlling of students' Productive Lesson divides into the most of three Productive Lesson which containing the elements of calculation mathematical, that Mekanika Teknik, Ukur Tanah, and Konstruksi Beton Bertulang. In fact, some of students have a trouble for learning this Productive Lesson. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to know about the contribution of learning Mathematics towards learning Productive Lesson. Also, this study aim to obtain the general image between learning Mathematics and Productive Lesson, and to know the contribution of Mathematics control towards the controlling of Productive Lesson for student in the Engineering Program of Teknik Konstruksi Batu Beton at SMKN 1 Sukabumi. The research method is using quantitative approach with explanation method (correlation). The subject of this study is the students of Engineering Program of Teknik Konstruksi Batu Beton at SMKN 1 Sukabumi who have learned the lesson of Mekanika Teknik and Ukur Tanah in the X class and have been learning the lesson of Konstruksi Beton Bertulang in the class XI. The instrument of this study is using documentation value for measuring the Mathematics control (variable X) and multiple choice test for measuring the controlling of Productive Lesson (variable Y). The result of study was showed that the general image of students' Mathematics control has included as the strong criteria and for the controlling of students' Productive Lesson has belonged to be sufficient criteria. Based on the result, it also showed the significant and positive contribution approximately 91,64% in cognitive aspect and the rest of contribution contains 8,36% which originated from other factors in controlling of Mathematics towards Productive Lesson of students in the Engineering Program of Teknik Konstruksi Batu Beton at SMKN 1 Sukabumi
