Summary: | Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya self management dalam belajar siswa yang berada pada usia Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Tujuan penelitian adalah memeroleh gambaran keefektifan program layanan bimbingan kelompok melalui teknik group exercise untuk meningkatkan self management dalam belajar siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif dengan metode pre ekperimen dengan teknik purposive sampling. Tempat penelitian di SMPN 3 Tambun Selatan pada kelas IX sejumlah 10 orang responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan layanan bimbingan kelompok melalui teknik group exercise terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan self management dalam belajar. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil uji efektivitas, nilai rata-rata pada tiap aspek self management siswa dan adanya dinamika perubahan perilaku pada tiap sesi bimbingan kelompok. ---This research is carried out as a consideration on the low students academic self management junior high school students during their adolescence. The purpose of this research is examining the effectiveness of group exercise technique in group setting to improve students academic self management. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research design and purposive sampling technique was applied in this research. It was conducted at SMPN 3 Tambun Selatan, 10 students were involved. The data gathered were analyzed by using Wicoxon Testing. The findings show that group guidance through group exercise technique is effective in improving students academic self management. It is shown on the result of effectiveness testing, the students mean scores in each aspects of self management and some positive changes of their behaviors in each group guidance session. |
