Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah adanya kejanggalan dalam lulusan SMK, yang tidak sejalan dengan apa yang diharapkan sebagaimana mestinya pendidikan di SMK. Penulis beranggapan adanya ketidaksesuaian antara mata pelajaran dengan kompetensi yang diperlukan di industri, oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemetaan relevansi antara mata pelajaran pemeliharaan kendaraan ringan dengan kompetensi kerja di industri otomotif. Penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan dokumentasi yang didapat dari tempat penelitian yaitu SMKN 6 Bandung dan Auto 2000 Soekarno Hatta dan SKKNI Kendaraan Ringan. Hasil dari penelitian ini (1) mata pelajaran PMKR kelas XI belum mencapai standar kompetensi SKKNI dengan hasil rasio ketepatan sesuai rumus fosket yaitu sebesar 0,49. (2) Sedangkan untuk mata pelajaran PMKR kelas XII memiliki kesesuaian dengan kompetensi kerja di Industri Otomotif, dengan rasio ketepatan sebesar 0,1 yang dapat diartikan relevan. kesimpulan secara umum bahawa hasil dari deskripsi relevansi mata pelajaran PMKR dengan kompetensi industri otomotif, sebagian besar sudah relevan, namun belum bisa dinyatakan sebagai dokumen yang baik, karena masih ada sebagian materi mata pelajaran PMKR yang belum relevan dengan kompetensi kerja di industri otomotif.---- The problem in this research is the existence of irregularities in SMK graduates, which is not in line with what is expected as appropriate education in vocational school. The author considers the incompatibility between subjects with competence required in the industry, therefore this study aims to describe mapping the relevance of light vehicle maintenance subjects with work competence in the automotive industry. This research is descriptive research. Data collection techniques used in this study are observations and documentation obtained from the research site that is SMKN Bandung and Auto 2000 Soekarno Hatta and SKKNI Light Vehicles. Result of this research (1) subjects of class XK PMKR not yet reached the competency standard of SKKNI with result of accuracy ratio according to fosket formula that is equal to 0,49. (2) As for the subjects of class XII PMKR have conformity with work competence in Automotive Industry, with the accuracy ratio of 0.1 which can be interpreted relevant. the general conclusion that the results of the relevance description of PMKR subjects with the competence of the automotive industry, most of which are relevant, but can not be stated as a good document, because there are still some subject matter of PMKR that is not relevant to the work competence in the automotive industry or SKKNI.
