Summary:Hasil studi pendahuluan memperoleh siswa berperilaku mementingkan diri sendiri, kurang menghargai hak orang lain, dan tidak menghormati siswa lain. Suatu penelitian eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI IPS untuk mendapat perlakuan permainan tradisional etnis sunda berbasis nilai selama 12 kali pertemuan. Instrumen respek dengan indikator perhatian, pengakuan, menghargai, terbuka, menerima, hubungan antara sesama teman, manajemen diri, kemampuan akademis, kepatuhan, dan perilaku assertive ditanyakan pada sampel dengan skala jawaban skala likert. Secara statistik sederhana analisis t-test menunjukan permainan tradisional etnis sunda berbasis nilai memberikan dampak pada perilaku respek dengan signifikansi 0,001. Siswa yang diberi pembelajaran permainan tradisional etnis sunda berbasis nilai berperilaku lebih respek daripada siswa yang tidak diberi pembelajaran permainan tradisional etnis sunda berbasis nilai.;---Preliminary study results obtained students behaving selfishly, lacking respect for the rights of others, and disrespecting other students. An experimental study with pretest-posttest control group design was performed on grade XI IPS students to receive a traditional Sundanese-based ethnic game practice for 12 meetings. Instruments of respect with indicators of attention, recognition, respect, openness, acceptance, relationships among friends, self-management, academic ability, compliance, and assertive behavior are asked on samples with Likert scale answers. Statistically simple t-test analysis shows traditional ethnic-based Sundanese-style games have an impact on respect behavior with significance of 0.001. Students who were taught by traditional ethnic Sundanese-based game play behaved more respectfully than students who were not given traditional values-based Sunda-based games.
