Summary:This research is based on by the lack of environmental awareness that occurs among students 1 Karawang VHS, then there must be education that leads them to be able to maintain and manage a good environment through the program adiwiyata. This research uses qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data collection techniques by interview, observation, documentation, and literature study. Data analysis techniques by data reduction, data display, conclusion and verification data, and data validity. The result of the research shows that (1) the implementation of the adiwiyata program in raising students' awareness to the environment is done through activities such as management of garbage, garbage bank, park maintenance, water channel utilization, and others. (2) The values of civic disposition developed in the adiwiyata program are environmental, responsibility, honest, religious, gotong royong, discipline, comply with the social rules, conscious rights and obligations, nationalist and intelligent. (3) Obstacles encountered include insufficient infrastructure, less of environtmental knowledge of students, changing the character of all school residents, sanctions are less assertive. (4) The efforts to resolve are increasing the role of teachers, socialization, making strict sanctions and policies, students seeking information, optimizing the role of the student organization and extracurricular, motivating students. (5) The relationship of environmental awareness to civic education is the knowledge of the values gained from the learning outcomes, the students should be able to apply the values in everyday life. This adiwiyata program becomes a place to apply the values to be achieved in every civic education learning activity.---- Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah kurangnya kepedulian lingkungan yang terjadi di kalangan siswa SMKN 1 Karawang, maka harus ada pendidikan yang mengarahkan mereka untuk dapat menjaga dan mengelola lingkungan yang baik yaitu melalui program adiwiyata. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi, serta melakukan validitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pelaksanaan program adiwiyata dalam meningkatkan kepedulian siswa terhadap lingkungan dilakukan melalui kegiatan seperti pengelolaan sampah, bank sampah, pemeliharaan taman, pemanfaatan saluran air, dan lain-lain. (2) Nilai-nilai civic disposition yang dikembangkan dalam program adiwiyata yaitu karakter peduli lingkungan, tanggung jawab, jujur, religius, gotong royong, disiplin, patuh aturan sosial, sadar hak dan kewajiban, nasionalis, dan cerdas. (3) Kendala yang ditemukan diantaranya sarana prasarana belum maksimal, keterbatasan pengetahuan siswa, mengubah karakter semua warga sekolah, sanksi kurang tegas. (4) Upaya yang dilakukan yaitu peningkatan peran guru, sosialisasi, membuat kebijakan dan sanksi yang tegas, siswa mencari informasi, pengoptimalan peran organisasi dan ekstrakurikuler, memotivasi siswa. (5) Hubungan kepedulian lingkungan dengan pendidikan kewarganegaraan yaitu pengetahuan nilai-nilai yang diperoleh dari hasil pembelajaran, siswa seharusnya dapat mengaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Program adiwiyata ini menjadi wadah untuk mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai yang ingin dicapai pada setiap pembelajaran PPKn.
