Seni merupakan hasil proses dari manusia, semua hasil penciptaan manusia dalam sebuah karya, baik yang diciptakan secara sengaja dengan kesadaran keindahan ataupun tidak, semestinya memiliki nilai keindahan sekecil apapun. Kopi sebagai jenis minuman yang dikenal oleh setiap masyarakat dunia tidak hanya sebagai minuman yang memiliki rasa dan warna khas, tetapi juga mempunyai sejarah dan proses dalam penyajiannya. Keberagaman jenis kopi di Indonesia yang dipengaruhi letak geografis dan unsur hayati di setiap daerahnya memberikan ciri khas rasa dan aroma pada setiap jenisnya. Kemajuan teknologi, serta inovasi dalam penyajiannya tidak hanya menjadi tren yang memikat bagi penikmat rasa dan visual, dewasa ini kopi mulai dikenal kembali sebagai minuman yang memiliki gengsi tersendiri. Sudut pandang yang menarik dalam hal ini yaitu memvisualisasikan keunikan karya seni grafis dengan teknik linocut dengan keberagaman, jenis dan ciri khas serta sejarah kopi di Nusantara sebagai gagasan dalam berkarya seni. Seni grafis merupakan cabang seni yang erat kaitannya dengan kegiatan dan proses cetak-mencetak, dengan beragam teknik didalamnya, seni grafis menghadirkan ciri khas tersendiri terutama dengan teknik cetak tinggi linocut.---- Art is the result of human processes, all the result of human creation in a work, either created intentionally with the consciousness of beauty or not, should have the least beauty value. Coffee as a kind of drink known by every world community, not only as a drink that has a distinctive taste and color, but also has a history on it's presentation. The variety type of coffee in Indonesia which is influenced by geographical location and biological element in each region gives characteristic flavor and aroma in each type. Technology advances, and inovation in its presentation not only become a fascinating trend for the taste and visual audience, nowadays coffee become known again as a drink that has its own prestige. An interesting point of view on this case is how to visualize the uniqueness of graphic artwork with linocut techniques with diversity, variety and the characteristics and history of coffee in the archipelago as an idea in the work of art. Graphic art is an art branch that is closely related with the activities of printing process, with various techniques in it, graphic art presents its own distinctive features, especially with high print techinique linocut.
