Penelitian ini berjudul "Efektivitas Strategi Collaborative Writing berbantuan Google Docs Terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis Siswa." Penelitian ini merupakan usaha untuk menjawab permasalahan peneliti yang bertitik tolak dari masalah umum yaitu: Bagaimana efektivitas penggunaan strategi collaborative writing berbantuan google docs dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kuasi Ekperimen dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Jenis design penelitian ini didasarkan pada sampel penelitian yang sudah terbentuk secara alamiah. Teknik sampling yang diterapkan dalam penentuan kelompok experimen dan kontrol adalah puposive sampling. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMK Insan Mandiri, terdiri dari empat kelas berjumlah 120 siswa, penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas sebagai sampel dimana kelas X- AP 1 yang sebagai kelas control dan kelas X-TKJ 1 sebagai kelas ekperimen yang masing-masing memiliki 30 orang siswa. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes dalam bentuk essay. Kevalidan instrumen diukur melalui uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Isntrumen diberikan dengan total sebanyak dua kali, yaitu pada saat pretest dan posttest. Selanjutnya, data tersebut akan dianalisis melalui uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai thitung lebih besar dari pada ttabel yakni 6,398> 1,671. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan kata lain, dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunaan strategi collaborative writing berbantuan google docs efektif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menulis siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMK Insan Mandiri. ----This study entitled "The Effectiveness of Collaborative Writing Strategy assisted by Google Docs on Improving Student Writing Ability." This research is an attempt to answer the problems of researchers starting from general problems, namely: How effective the use of Google docs collaborative writing strategies in improving student's writing skills Indonesian language lessons. This study used the Quasi Experiment method with nonequivalent control group design. The type of design of this study is based on research samples that have formed naturally. The sampling technique applied in determining experimental and control groups was purposive sampling. The research subjects were grade X students of Mandiri Insan Vocational School, consisting of four classes totaling 120 students, this study used two classes as samples in which class X-AP 1 as the control class and class X-TKJ 1 as the experimental class which each had 30 students. The instrument of this research is a test in the form of an essay. The validity of the instrument is measured through validity and reliability testing. Isntrumen is given twice in total, namely at the pretest and posttest. Furthermore, the data will be analyzed through normality tests and hypothesis tests. The results of data analysis obtained a value of tcount greater than t table that is 6.398> 1.671. Thus it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. In other words, it can be said that the use of Google Docs assisted collaborative writing strategy is effective in improving students' writing skills in Indonesian language subjects at the Insan Mandiri Vocational School.
