Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi menjadi guru terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru profesional pada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Akuntansi FPEB UPI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif verifikatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Akuntansi FPEB UPI angkatan 2013-2017. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu Purposive Sampling. Jumlah populasi pada penelitian ini adalah 446 mahasiswa dan sampel sebanyak 79 mahasiswa. Motivasi menjadi guru dan kesiapan menjadi guru profesional pada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Akuntansi UPI diperoleh dengan menyebarkan angket penelitian dengan menggunakan format checklist. Motivasi menjadi guru dan kesiapan menjadi guru profesional dianalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 22. Hasil uji determinasi menunjukkan bahwa motivasi menjadi guru memberikan pengaruh terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru profesional sebesar 32,38%. Hasil uji t menunjukkan dari pengujian hipotesis diperoleh t_hitung = 6,072 > t_tabel = 1,66488 dengan α = 0,05, maka H_0 ditolak, dan H_1 diterima yang berarti motivasi menjadi guru berpengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru profesional. --------- This study aims to determine the effect of motivation to be a teacher on the readiness to become a professional teacher in Accounting Education students FPEB UPI. The method used in this research is descriptive verification method. The population of this study the students of Eduacational Accounting Program Study FPEB UPI force 2013-2017. Sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling. Total population in this study were 446 students and a sample of 79 students. Motivation to be a teacher and readiness to become a professional teacher in student at Program Accounting of Education is obtained by spreading the research questionnaire by using a checklist format. Motivation to be teachers and readiness to become professional teachers were analyzed using SPSS version 22 assistance. The result of determination test shows that the motivation to be teacher gives influence to the readiness to become professional teacher equal to 32,38%. The result of t test shows that the hypothesis test is t_hit = 6,072 > t_table = 1,66488 with α = 0,05, then rejected, and accepted which mean motivation become teacher have positive effect to readiness to become professional teacher.
