Summary:In electrical field, electrical energy is the energy most needed for humans in the world. VLT Low Voltage Drive is one of the innovations that can save electrical energy in the industry. At Muka Kuning, Batam City, there are industries that use VLT Low Voltage Drive tools that are connected to the mixer machine. This research reviews the effect of frequency changes generated by VLT Low Voltage Drive on the resulting energy savings, with variables 1.1 Hz to 54.5 Hz. This research use experimental methods with processing and testing appropriate with the industry standard, and testing to be tested without load or by using the load (induction motor). The test specification use a VLT Micro Drive 3.0 HP, 4.0 HP. The results of this research show that when tested without load, VLT is not working properly, because the VLT works when connected to the load, and when tested using the load, the frequency is directly proportional to the speed of motor rotation, output current, output voltage and output power. ;---Dalam dunia kelistrikan, energi listrik merupakan energi yang paling dibutuhkan oleh manusia di bumi ini. VLT Low Voltage Drive merupakan salah satu inovasi yang dapat menghemat energi listrik dalam penggunaan alat di industri . Di daerah Muka Kuning, Kota Batam, terdapat industri yang memakai alat VLT Low Voltage Drive yang dihubungkan dengan mesin mixer. Penelitan ini meninjau pengaruh perubahan frekuensi yang dihasilkan oleh VLT Low Voltage Drive terhadap penghematan energi yang dihasilkan, dengan variabel 1,1 Hz sampai 54,5 Hz. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pengerjaan dan pengujian yang sesuai dengan standar industri tersebut, dan pengujian yang akan diuji tanpa beban ataupun dengan menggunakan beban (motor induksi). Benda uji menggunakan VLT Micro Drive 3,0 kW, 4,0 HP. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pada saat diuji tanpa beban, VLT tidak berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya, karena VLT berfungsi jika dihubungkan dengan beban, dan pada saat diuji menggunakan beban, frekuensi berbanding lurus dengan kecepatan putaran motor, arus output, tegangan output dan daya output.
