Summary

Kebutuhan akan lulusan bidang teknik elektro masih sangat tinggi, baik untuk memenuhi kebutuhan reguler maupun program khusus pemerintah. Salah satu departemen yang ada di FPTK UPI adalah Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Elektro (DPTE). FPTK UPI memiliki tujuan mendidik tenaga ahli teknik secara akademis dan profesional untuk menghasilkan sarjana dan ahli madya teknik yang diperlukan bagi pembangunan industri dan sektor-sektor pembangunan nasional lainnya yang relevan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengambilan keputusan dalam memilih prodi dan pengalaman belajar mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro DPTE FPTK UPI secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap persepsi kerja bidang teknik elektro. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Elektro angkatan 2012 dan 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh pengambilan keputusan dalam memilih prodi dan pengalaman belajar mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro DPTE FPTK UPI secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap persepsi kerja bidang teknik elektro. ABSTRACT The need for graduates in electrical engineering is still very high, both to meet the regular needs and special programs of the government. One of the departments in FPTK UPI is the Department of Education in Electrical Engineering (DPTE). FPTK UPI aims to educate technical experts and academics professionally to produce intermediate scholars and experts needed for the development of industry and other relevant national development sectors. This study aims to determine the effect of decision making in selecting study programs and learning experiences of students of the Electrical Engineering Education Department of the DPTE FPTK UPI partially or simultaneously on the perception of work in the electrical engineering field. The sample used in this study were students of the 2012 and 2013 Electrical Engineering Education Department. The research method used in this study was quantitative research methods. The results of the study showed that the influence of decision making in choosing study programs and learning experiences by students of the Electrical Engineering Education Department of the DPTE FPTK UPI partially and simultaneously towards the perception of work in the electrical engineering field.
