Permasalahan lingkungan bukan hanya permasalahan yang harus dihadapi pemerintah sebagai pembuat kebijakan, namun ini merupakan tanggung jawab semua pihak, baik pemerintah maupun masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi program Ecovillage (Desa Berbudaya Lingkungan) Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Provinsi Jawa Barat sebagai upaya menumbuhkan nilai budaya gotong royong di masyarakat Desa Pataruman Kecamatan Cihampelas Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kulaitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil pengumpulan data yang diperoleh melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis mengunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Data yang berhasil diperoleh kemudian divalidasi menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Strategi perencanaan dan pelaksanaan Program Ecovillage Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Jawa Barat dilakukan dengan proses yang panjang dan tersusun dengan baik, 2) Implementasi nilai-nilai budaya gotong royong dalam pelaksanaan program ecovillage Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Jawa Barat mampu menumbuhkan nilai budaya gotong royong dimasyarakat Desa Pataruman Kecamatan Cihampelas, 3) Kendala yang dihadapi diantaranya adalah koordinasi dengan pihak lembaga lain masih kurang karena adanya ego sektoral dengan terus merangkul lembaga lain termasuk pemerintahan desa sebagai upaya mengatasinya. GROWING THE VALUE OF GOTONG ROYONG CULTURE THROUGH THE ECOVILLAGE PROGRAM IN PERSPECTIVE CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION (Case Study of Pataruman Village, Cihampelas District, West Of Bandung) Environment problems are not only just for the government as the policy makers, but this is the responsibility of us, what is as the government or society. This research to analyze the implementation of the Ecovillage (Environment Culture Village) program in the West Java Province Environment Office as an effort to growth the value of Gotong Royong Culture in Pataruman Village, Cihampelas District, West Of Bandung. The methode using qualitative with the case study. The results of data collection were used interview techniques, observation, and documentation then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The result of data then validated by using source triangulation techniques and triangulation of data collection techniques. The results of research showed that 1) The strategy for planning and implementing the Ecovillage Program in the West Java Province Environmental Office was carried out with a long time and well process. 2) The implementation of values Gotong Royong cultures in the Ecovillage program of the West Java Province Environment Office in the society of Pataruman Village, Cihampelas district, 3) The problems include are coordination with other institutions is not enaught, because has of sectoral ego by continuing to other institutions including the village government as one of the effort to solve the problem.
