520 | |a Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan bagaimana pendidikan karakter di pesantren Cipari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Teknik analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Dasar-dasar pemikiran yang melandasi pesantren Cipari menyelenggarakan pendidikan akhlak meliputi empat poin berikut: landasan agama (syari'at); landasan moral; landasan sejarah; dan kaidah ushul fiqh "Al-Muhafadzhotu 'Alal Qodisimishoolih wal Akhdzu bil Jadidil Ashlah". 2) Program pendidikan akhlak di pesantren Cipari yang meliputi: Nidzhomul Ma'had; kegiatan pembiasaan; pemberian penghargaan (reward) bagi santri yang berprestasi; dan pendidikan 24 jam. 3) Proses penyelenggaraan pendidikan akhlak di pesantren Cipari melalui empat tahapan yang meliputi: uswatun hasanah (keteladanan); latihan dan pembiasaan; pengamalan; serta pengajian kitab kuning dan mauidzhotul hasanah (nasihat yang baik). 4) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendidikan akhlak di pesantren Cipari yaitu: a) faktor pendukung, yang meliputi: keteladanan Kyai dan ustadz; mauidzhotul hasanah dari Kyai; lingkungan masyarakat sekitar pesantren; teman sesama santri; adanya penegakan aturan dan ta'zir (sanksi) bagi santri yang melanggar yang tercantum dalam Nidzhomul Ma'had; dan peran orang tua. b) faktor penghambat, yang meliputi: lingkungan masyarakat sekitar pesantren; kemajuan teknologi; kesadaran dan kemauan dalam diri santri sendiri untuk berubah. The purpose of this study was to describe how character education in Cipari boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with case study research methods. Data is collected through observation, interviews, documentation studies, and literature studies. Data analysis techniques by means of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this study are 1) The rationale underlying the Cipari boarding school for akhlak education includes the following four points: the foundation of religion (syari'at); moral foundation; historical foundation; and the rules of the ushul fiqh "Al-Muhafadzhotu Alal Qodisimishoolih wal Akhdzu bil Jadidil Ashlah". 2) The akhlak education program at Cipari boarding school which includes: Nidzhomul Ma'had; habituation activities; awarding students with high achievement; and 24-hour education. 3) The process of organizing akhlak education in Cipari boarding schools through four stages including uswatun hasanah (modeling); training and habituation; practice; and recitation of the yellow book and mauidzhotul hasanah (good advice). 4) Factors influencing moral education in Cipari boarding schools are: a) supporting factors, which include: exemplary Kyai and ustadz; mauidzhotul hasanah from Kyai; community environment around pesantren; fellow santri friends; the existence of enforcement of rules and ta'zir (sanctions) for students who violate existing in Nidzhomul Ma'had; and the role of parents. b) inhibiting factors, which include: the community around the pesantren; technology advances; and awareness and willingness in the students themselves to change.
