Gedebage merupakan kawasan yang akan dijadikan sebagai pusat kota Bandung pada tahun 2030 (RTRW Kota Bandung 2014). Hal ini menyebabkan dibutuhkannya fasilitas untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat pada kawasan tersebut. Shopping Mall ini akan menjadi akomodasi untuk memenuhi kegiatan rekreasi dan perdagangan masyarakat dari dalam dan luar kota Bandung. Untuk merespon keadaan kawasan Gedebage maka Arsitektur Modern Tropis dipilih sebagai konsep bangunan dengan tema "indulgence (memanjakan)". Tema ini memberikan perhatian, ciri khas, dan keunikan dalam segi element-element bangunan. Penekanan konsep dan tema diterapkan pada dinding Mall, material, dan fasilitas yang telah disediakan. Gedebage is going to be a central city of bandung in 2030 according to RTRW Kota Bandung 2014. It needs to enhance its facilities in order to able to serve the needs of the community in the area. The Shopping Mall has become the accomodation to meet the needs of the society for recreation and as well as bussiness for people at large both from inside and outside of Bandung. To respond this area, I choose The Tropic Modern Architecture as a building concept with the theme of "Indulgence". This theme gives the attention, characteristic, and unique issue in building element. Applying concept of pressure and theme on the wall, material and facility has been provided.
