Selama jangka waktu ±10 tahun terakhir, belum terdapat dokumen pemetaan relevansi antara materi Mata Kuliah Matematika dengan materi Mata Kuliah Keahlian Bidang Studi (MKKBS). Sementara itu, pada setiap rapat pra-pelaksanaan kurikulum, tidak adanya pembahasan oleh dosen pengampu mata kuliah mengenai relevansi antara materi Mata Kuliah Matematika dengan materi MKKBS. Ditambah lagi, mahasiswa/i pada Kelompok Bidang Keahlian (KBK) Produksi dan Perancangan (PP) kurang memperoleh gambaran pengaplikasian yang jelas dan variatif dari setiap materi yang yang telah diterima, sehingga atas dasar informasi tersebut, perlu dilakukan suatu penelitian mengenai studi relevansi materi Mata Kuliah Matematika dengan materi MKKBS di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Mesin (JPTM) KBK PP. Adapun subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu materi mata kuliah Matematika dan materi MKKBS pada kurikulum 2013 JPTM, dimana dosen pengampu MKKBS KBK PP sebagai responden. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan deskripsi relevansi materi dan pemetaan sekuen antara materi Mata Kuliah Matematika dengan materi MKKBS. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik dokumentasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh materi Mata Kuliah Matematika yang berjumlah 14 butir mendukung seluruh materi MKKBS, meskipun ada materi Mata Kuliah Matematika yang secara tidak langsung mendukung materi MKKBS, sehingga diperoleh rekapitulasi relevansi materi sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan Dosen Pengampu Mata Kuliah Matematika dapat mengilustrasikan pengaplikasian materi ajar yang lebih bervariasi terhadap materi MKKBS, sedangkan Dosen Pengampu MKKBS diharapkan dapat mengingatkan mahasiswa untuk mengaplikasikan materi matematika yang telah dipelajari sebelumnya. Sementara itu, bagi mahasiswa/i diharapkan dapat menjadikan dokumen pemetaan relevansi materi sebagai acuan dalam merencanakan perkuliahan. Kata Kunci: Relevansi, Matematika, dan MKKBS. For about this recent ten years, there is no relevance mapping document between the Math course and the competence course. Meanwhile, there is no kind of explanation about it given by the lecturer which happens in every pre-implementation meeting. Moreover, the students of Kelompok Bidang Keahlian (KBK) Produksi dan Perancangan (PP) have less information about the implementation of the materials that they have learned before, because of that, it is considered as a necessary to do an investigation about the material relevancy of Math course with MKKBS in (JPTM) KBK PP. However, the materials of the Math course and the materials of MKKBS in the 2013 curriculum of JPTM becomes the subject of the study. Beside that, the lecturer who is obliged in it or expert in it becomes the participant or respondent of this study. This study is aimed to find out the relevancy description of materials and sequence mapping between the materials of Math course and the materials of MKKBS itself. Analytic description is used as the method of the research and documentation, interview, also questionnaire are used as techniques in collecting the data. The study shows that all the Math materials support the materials of MKKBS although there is still found that the Math materials not support the materials of MKKBS directly. As a result, 100 % recapitulation of the materials relevancy is found. Based on this results, it is hoped that the lecturers of Math course are able to use the variation of the implementation of the materials towards the materials of MKKBS. Besides that, the lecturers of MKKBS are also hoped be able to recall the students to implement the Math materials whish have been learned before. In addition, it is also hoped that the students are able to make the materials relevancy mapping document as a criterion or stamdard in designing the lesson. Keywords: Relevancy, Math, and MKKBS.
