Judul tesis ini adalah "Mantra dalam Upacara Menumbai Lebah Pada Masyarakat Melayu Rokan: Kajian Struktur Teks, Konteks Penuturan, Fungsi, dan Pemanfaatannya Sebagai Bahan Ajar di SMA". Pertanyaan-pertanyaan penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimana proses upacara menumbai lebah pada masyarakat Melayu Rokan; bagaimana struktur teks mantra menumbai lebah masyarakat Melayu Rokan; bagaimana konteks penuturan mantra menumbai lebah masyarakat Melayu Rokan; apa fungsi mantra menumbai lebah bagi masyarakat Melayu Rokan; dan bagaimana memanfaatkan mantra dalam upacara menumbai lebah sebagai bahan ajar bahasa dan sastra di SMA. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan segala pertanyan penelitian tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini mendeskripsikan bahwa mantra memiliki struktur bunyi yang beraturan, asonansi dan aliterasi, irama, makna, konteks penuturan, dan fungsi bagi penuturnya. The title of this thesis is "Mantra in ceremony Menumbai Bees In Rokan Malay Society: Study Structural Text, Context, Function, and Utilization of Instructional Material for Senior High School ". Research questions in this research is how the ceremony at menumbai bee Rokan Malay community, how the structure of the text spell menumbai bee Rokan Malay community, how the context of the narrative spell menumbai bee Rokan Malay society: what the functions of spell menumbai bee Rokan Malay for the Malay community, and how utilizing the ceremony menumbai bee spell as language teaching materials and literature in senior high school. The purpose of this study is to describe all the research the question above. The result of this research discribed that spell has a sound structure is irregular, assonance and alliteration, rhythm, meaning, narrative context, and functions for the speakers.
