Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara faktor psikologis (kesiapan mental, kecemasan, dan tingkat konsentrasi) dengan performa wasit dalam memimpin pertandingan softball. Wasit dianggap menjadi salah satu faktor penghambat dalam kesuksesan pertandingan, karena dianggap mengambil beberapa keputusan yang keliru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis correlational research dan desain paradigma ganda dengan tiga variabel independen. Populasi penelitian yaitu wasit softball Kota Bandung dan daerah lain, dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 32 orang dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara berurutan antara tes kesiapan mental, tes kecemasan, tes konsentrasi dan penilaian performa wasit softball. Setelah data terkumpul, kemudian diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan program SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kesiapan mental dengan performa wasit dalam memimpin pertandingan softball. 2) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kecemasan dengan performa wasit dalam memimpin pertandingan softball. 3) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat konsentrasi dengan performa wasit dalam memimpin pertandingan softball. 4) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kesiapan mental, kecemasan, dan tingkat konsentrasi secara bersama-sama dengan performa wasit dalam memimpin pertandingan softball, dengan kontribusi sebesar 74,4% dan sisanya sebesar 25,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.-- This research is motivated from the observation of researchers on some events in the field during softball game. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between psychological factors (mental readiness, anxiety, and concentration level) and the performance of the umpire in leading the softball game. The umpire considered to be one of the inhibiting factors in the game's success, because considered to be taking some wrong decisions. The research used quantitative method by using correlational research analysis and dual paradigm design with three independent variables. The population of the research were softball umpire of Kota Bandung and other regions, and the sample used 32 people by using purposive sampling. The data collection was performed sequentially between mental readiness tests, anxiety tests, concentration tests and softball umpire performance assessments. After the data collected, then processed and analyzed used SPSS 20. The results of the research show: 1) There is a significant relationship between mental readiness and the performance of the umpire in leading the softball game. 2) There is a significant relationship between anxiety with the performance of the umpire in leading the softball game. 3) There is a significant relationship between the concentration level and the performance of the umpire in leading the softball game. 4) There is a significant relationship between mental readiness, anxiety, and concentration levels together with the performance of the umpire in leading softball matches, with contributions of 74.4% and the remaining 25.6% influenced by other factors. |
