| Summary: | Pandangan pengusaha/pelaku industri cenderung melihat pendidikan kejuruan tidak relevan dengan kebutuhan industri berakibat pada rendahnya kompetensi lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Perubahan teknologi informasi pada sisi lainnya mengalami perkembangan sangat pesat, namun pemanfaatannya secara optimal di SMK juga tergolong masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang model bimbingan Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL), menentukan materi yang dibutuhkan sistem dan menghasilkan sistem informasi praktik kerja lapangan berbasis web. Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif untuk menjaring data mengenai permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi menggunakan angket tipe pertanyaan terbuka dan wawancara. Metode yang digunakan untuk menjaring data kuantitatif dalam penelitian ini adalah Design Science Research Methods (DSRM), yaitu penelitian yang menghasilkan produk dan layanan tertentu dalam bentuk sistem informasi. Alur penelitian dimulai dari studi pendahuluan, pembuatan sistem, dan pengujian sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengujian aspek functionality bernilai baik, pengujian aspek usability memperoleh nilai sangat tinggi, pengujian aspek reliability memperoleh nilai sangat tinggi, dan pengujian aspek efficiency memperoleh nilai tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang diperoleh, maka sistem informasi praktik kerja lapangan SMK berbasis web dapat digunakan untuk mendukung pengelolaan kegiatan praktik kerja lapangan.;-- The industry's view of vocational education tends to be irrelevant to their needs which leads to the low competence of vocational high school graduates. Information technology on the other hand has grown very rapidly, but its utilization in vocational high school is also still low. This study aims to design an internship model, determine required material to system and produce web-based internship information system. This research is qualitative by using descriptive approach to capture data that being faced using open questionnaire and interview. The method used to collect quantitative data in this research is Design Science Research Methods (DSRM). This method research produces certain products and services of information systems. The flow of research starts from the initial study, system development, and system testing. The result of the research shows that the test of the functionality aspect is good, the usability aspect is very high, the reliability test is very high, and the efficiency aspect test gets the high score. Based on the test results obtained, then web-based internship information system can be used to support the management of internship activities. |
