520 |a Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan membaca pemahaman di kelas IV sekolah dasar.karena guru masih menggunakan model pembelajaran yang kurang bervariatif dan siswa tidak terbiasa membaca, sehingga model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching diterapkan agar mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa di kelas IV sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, refleksi yang terdiri dari 2 siklus dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 22 orang siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar.Instrumen penelitian atau proses data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi, tes, lembar kerja siswa, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian ini telah meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II sebanyak 24% dan dengan rata-rata kelas meningkat dari siklus I dengan skor 54 dan meningkat ke siklus II menjadi 88.dan presentase kelulusan telah mencapai 100% dari hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa di kelas IV sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan Membaca Pemahaman.,Model Pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching.The research was motivated by the lack of ability to read comprehension of four grade elemrntary school students it's because in learning,the teacher still used a less veried learning model and the students are not accustoed to reading, so that the reciprocal teaching learning model is applied to overcome these problems.The purposed of this study was to describe the appication of reciprocal teaching learning model to improve reading com perhension skills of fourth grade elementary school students the research method used classroom action research (PTK)Kemmis and Mc Taggart modes consist of panning, implementing observing, reflecting, consisting of two cycles.the subjects in this research were fourth grade students in public elementary school ,as many as 22 people.Research instrument or the data process in this study used observation sheets,as well as tests,as docuentasion and paper student.the results of this study have increased from cycle I to cycle II as much as 24% and with the average class increasing from cycle I with a score of 54 and increasing to cycle II to 88. And the percentage of graduation has reached 100%.from these results,it can be councluded that the reciprocal teaching learning model can improve the ability of reading comprehension skills of fourth grade elementary school students.
