TINGKAT KEPATUHAN PERAWAT DALAM MELAKUKAN HAND HYGIENE Nanda Putri Pertiwi [e-mail] ABSTRAK Setiap tahun diperkirakan dua juta pasien mengalami infeksi nosokomial pada saat di rumah sakit. Salah satu pencegahan infeksi nosokomial di rumah sakit adalah menjaga kebersihan tangan atau hand hygiene dengan baik dan benar, kepatuhan petugas kesehatan dalam melakukan hand hygiene di rawat inap merupakan salah satu indikator mutu area sasaran patient safety yang ada pada standar pelayanan mutu (SPM). Perawat merupakan tenaga kesehatan yang rentan terkena infeksi nosokomial di peroleh informasi bahwa lebih dari 20% perawat yang bertugas belum sepenuhnya melaksanakan prosedur pelaksanaan hand hygiene dengan baik dan benar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kepatuhan perawat dalam melakukan hand hygiene. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 67 perawat rawat inap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh dari kuesioner yang mengadopsi dari teori World Health Organization (WHO). Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa sebagian besar dari responden sebanyak 39 perawat dengan persentase 58,3% patuh dan hampir setengah dari responden sebanyak 28 perawat dengan persentase 42,8% tidak patuh. Dalam mengatasi agar perawat bisa sepenuhnya patuh pada prosedur pelaksanaan hand hygiene adalah meningkatkan program patient safety khususnya pada cuci tangan dengan menanamkan budaya hand hygiene 6 langkah dan five moments. One of prevention of nosocomial infections in hospitals is to keep hand hygiene or hand hygiene well and true, the compliance of health officers in conducting hand hygiene in hospitalisation is one of the indicators of quality target area patient Safety Standards of quality service (SPM). The nurse is a health worker who is prone to nosocomial infections in obtaining information that more than 20% of nurses who are in charge of not fully implementing the procedure of hand hygiene properly and correctly. The purpose of this research is to know the level of compliance of nurses in conducting hand hygiene. The number of samples on this study was as much as 67 nurses. The research method is used quantitatively with random sampling cluster techniques. The results of this study were obtained from a questionnaire that adopted from the theory of the World Health Organization (WHO). The results of this study were found that most of the respondents were 39 nurses with a percentage of 58.3% obedient and nearly half of the responden of 28 nurses with a percentage of 42.8% were disobedient. In overcoming that the nurse can be fully obedient to the procedure of hand hygiene is to improve the patient safety program, especially on hand washing by implanting a culture of 6 step hand hygiene and five moments.
