Summary:Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang tersedianya bahan ajar hikayat sebagai salah satu penunjang tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Bahan ajar yang digunakan kurang membantu siswa belajar secara mandiri. Hal tersebut telihat dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan analisis yang dilakukan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar hikayat berancangan teori transformasi berbasis kearifan lokal Sumatra Barat sebagai input bahan ajar yang dapat memfasilitasi siswa belajar sastra. Metode penelitian menggunakan hasil adaptasi dari model Hannafin dan Peck yang mencakup tiga terhapan, yaitu tahap penilaian kebutuhan, tahap perancangan, dan tahap pengembangan dan implementasi. Untuk menjaring data awal, dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan analisis kebutuhan siswa terhadap bahan ajar hikayat. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket validasi dan angket respon siswa teradap bahan ajar serta peneliti sendiri sebagai pentransformasi hikayat ke cerpen. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, observasi, dan analisis kebutuhan dikembangkanlah bahan ajar hikayat berupa buku pengayaan kepribadian yang berisikan enam transformasi hikayat ke dalam cerpen. Validasi buku pengayaan kepribadian dilakukan oleh 4 orang ahli dan 2 praktisi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang memperoleh rata-rata skor 89.65% (baik) pada tahap validasi kedua. Uji kelayakan dilakukan dengan uji coba secara perseorangan dan uji coba lapangan. Uji coba perseorangan memperolah rata-rata skor 80.12% (baik). Uji coba lapangan memperoleh rata-rata skor 88.65% (baik). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, buku pengayaan kepribadian yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria bahan ajar yang baik untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan memenuhi standar kelayakan berdasarkan komponen kegrafikaan, isi/materi, kebahasaan, penyajian, transformasi, dan penerapan dalam pembelajaran.;--- This research is motivated by the lack of legends as teaching resource as one of the supporting materials to achieve learning objectives. The teaching materials used are not sufficient to help students learn independently. This is reflected in interview, observation, and analysis that were conducted as the preliminary research. Based upon this, this present research aimed to develop folklore story as teaching materials using the theory of transformation based on local wisdom of West Sumatra. This teaching material is beneficial to facilitate students in learning literature. The methodology used was research method that was adapted from Hannafin and Peck model which includes three stages, namely need assessment stage, design stage, and development and implementation stage. To capture the initial data, it was conducted interview, observation, and analysis of student needs on teaching materials especially folklore materials. This research used validation questionnaire and questionnaire of students' response in using the developed-materials, as well as the researcher himself as the transformer of tale in to short story as the research instruments. Based on the results of interview, observation, and needs analysis, it was developed a folklore material in the form of personality enrichment book. This book contains six results of tale transformation into short story. The validation of the personality enrichment book was conducted by 4 experts and 2 Indonesian practitioners. It was obtained an average score of 89.65% (good) at the second validation stage. Feasibility test was conducted together with individual trials and field trials. Individual trials obtained an average score of 80.12% (good). Field trials obtained an average score of 88.65% (good). Based on these results, the personality enrichment book has met the criteria as a good teaching material to be used in teaching and learning process. Besides, it also meets the eligibility standards of validation aspects such as layout and design, content, language, presentation, transformation, as well as aspect of the implementation in teaching and learning process.
