Summary

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang pengaruh fiscal stress, kepadatan penduduk, dan kinerja keuangan terhadap alokasi belanja modal pada pemerintah kabupaten/kota hasil pemekaran di Pulau Sumatera dan Pulau Jawa selama tahun 2014-2016. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 52 pemerintah kabupaten/kota hasil pemekaran selama tiga tahun dengan total 156 sampel dengan metode purposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah (APBD), Laporan Realisasi Anggaran dan data jumlah penduduk dan luas wilayah diperoleh dari Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan Republik Indonesia dan Badan Pusat Statistik. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji statistik regresi data panel. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukan bahwa fiscal stress, kepadatan penduduk, dan kinerja keuangan berpengaruh terhadap alokasi belanja modal.;--This research aims to determine the effect of fiscal stress, population density and financial performance towards the capital expenditure allocation in regency/ municipality government of Proliferated Regions in Sumatera and Java Island from year 2014-2016. The sample of this research was 52 local governments of Proliferated Regions regency/ municipality over three years with a total of 156 samples, using a purposive sampling method. In this research, researcher use secondary data of Local goverment budget (APBD), Realized Local Goverment Budget and Data of Population and Area Size, which is obtained from Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia and Central Bureau of Statistics Republic of Indonesia. Testing the hypothesis in this research used panel data regression statistical test. The result of hypothesis testing showed that fiscal stress, population density, and financial performance has significant influence towards capital expenditure allocation.
