Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) terhadap profitabilitas. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEI periode tahun 2012-2017 dengan total 9 perusahaan dan 216 data observasi. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi terhadap laporan tahunan perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan ukuran perusahaan dan leverage sebagai variabel kontrol. ESOP diukur dengan proporsi saham ESOP, profitabilitas diukur dengan Earning Per Share (EPS), ukuran perusahaan diukur dengan logaritma natural dari total aset, sedangkan leverage diukur dengan Total Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR). Analisis statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa ESOP berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap profitabilitas dengan ukuran perusahaan dan leverage sebagai variabel kontrol. ;---The purpose of this research is to know the effect of Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) to probability. The object of this research is the companies that listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2012 until 2017 with 9 company and 216 data of observation. As for the data collection technique used is documentation technique using the data presented on the company annual report. The method used is descriptive and verificative methods. This research is using firm size and leverage as control variables. ESOP is measured by the proportion of ESOP share, probability is measured by Earning Per Share (EPS), firm size is measured by natural logarithm of total asset, while leverage is measured by Total Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR). Statistic analysis that used in this research is multiple regression analysis. The result of this resource is ESOP have a significant positive effect to probability with firm size and leverage as control variables.
